    It is hard to find down an alley, but is well known in the area so you will be easily directed. If flying in I would take their offer of a shuttle. The driver will then hopefully find it with ease. It was also 200Rs cheaper than the taxi I took. My single room was small, basic and clean. The fan was excellent. Bathroom was clean (ask for toilet paper) and hot water available 7 - 10 morning and evening or delivered in a bucket at other times if required. Very helpful staff who did all they could. Despite the basic room I stayed several days very happily. The free WiFi is excellent. There are dormitory style rooms which are even cheaper.... More

    Regarding price, this guest house is totally correct. It's far from perfect but there's hot water, nice staff, proper bed. It's located not far from main city station (5mn walk) which is convenient if you need to catch an early train.... More

    Dec - Freezing cold, internal window wouldn't close, smell of cigarettes and staff talking all night - no sleep

    This place was and area was recommended to me by a friend. It was my first time in Delhi but I had already spent 1 month in the south of India. I booked it online and got what I thought was a great price of £6.00 per night. I booked 3 nights. arrived at the accommodation to a not so warm welcome and was shown to my room. I had asked for a window on the quiet side of the property and had received a message to say ‘Sure’ My room was on the first floor at the top of the stairs from reception, I left my bags and went to get something to eat. I was very cold when I returned as the temperature was very different compare to the south so I attempted to have a hot shower to find no hot water. Not too much of a problem as one of the men took my large bucket and heater the water so I could have a wash. After this I jumped into bed. I was so cold I tried to close the ‘internal’ window above the door but it would not close. I lay there very cold and could smell cigarette smoke from smoking in reception at the bottom of the stairs. I wore earplugs to block out the sound but could still hear the men talking all night. I left in the morning and checked out another hotel which was a lot more expensive but I had decided I could not stay here another night. I returned to collect my luggage and informed them I was leaving explaining the reasons why. I asked if I could have part refund and was told this was not possible as I had paid online and the money would not be paid to them until the end of the month, they advised I try and change my booking on booking.com but this was not possible. I decided to cut my losses and get out of the awful place and stay just around the corner in the Hotel Hari Piorka which I got a great price on, was very warmly received and looked after during my stay....     I went there with my friend when I was in Delhi believe me it's just good to have a average quality shelter to spend the night, and it just satisfies the purpose, which makes me compelled to write this review... Just go for it what else can u expect in this price range...... More

    If you are looking for the fabled Paharganj experience, this is the place - hard to find and right in the heart of Main Bazar. I stayed 5 nights in their room with ensuite and ceiling fan - for the price, it was great value despite a small room with minimal ventilation. The place was relatively clean and safe. The owner was attentive to my needs. For t he money, it's hard to find a better deal.... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
