    What an awesome place to be in goa!

    Had absolutely no expectations of Goa at all, and after having travelled most of the city we soon realised we were in the safest and friendliest place of all! We were greeted by the lovely staff upon arrival and quickly shown to our room - which was amazing for the price and the location, the rooms are pretty basic in terms of shower and water supplies but it is absolutely everything you need to visit Goa! The Shaks are a short sandy walk through the bar to the beach and the food in the beach bar itself was absolutely incredible. The free breakfast on offer was amazing and with a great menu to choose from and a great selection of daily fresh caught fish we were spoiled with choice. The food was incredible, the flavours and the freshness of everything was the perfect start to our travels. The staff were just so welcoming and friendly and helpful I cannot thank them enough and will remember them always and be sad to leave! Especially Rocky - ask him for the best fish selections and he will never fail to please. Smiles all round and good vibes - recommend this place to anybody that comes to Goa!     Relax far away from noise.

    We spent there 5 awesome days. Houses are nice and clean, close to the beach. Bar and floor staff super nice and polite. Also fast and professional. Very wide range of food in the menu but I was trying only local dishes and they were amazing. Manager was really helpful all the time. Surfing lessons available. Comfort and relax.     Good food, perfect location. Poor service, overpriced, poor room equipment

    Stayed here in January 2017. This is not really hotel, rather set of wooden houses with a café on the beach, no reception, no anything related to a hotel. Rooms are poor, no AC, no TV, scant wi fi in café. Shortage of electricity and water supply happened twice. Rooms seem to be overpriced since a good alternative can be found near around. Advantage: good food in the café, beach is just next to hotel. Personnel’s faces are decorated with sadness and inhospitality. We arrived at late night and were about to get sleep, then suddenly a man in shorts appeared (who were not seen in our check in) and said that he was the owner and wanted our passports to be kept at his place. I kindly replied that passport was the only one my ID, and this was my main paper to cross a border on my way back. Somehow this guy didn’t want to take a driver license, neither click ID photos, no make ID photocopies. I asked: ‘ok, where is a proof that you are personnel? Where is guarantee that my passport would not be stolen, damaged in your place?’ He said: ‘I am the owner, I need to be sure that room is not damaged by you, give me your passport - I give you my word they will be ok, if you don’t – go away from here!’. Perfect! I travelled around the world and NONE hotel took my passport. NONE. In NONE country. Even policeman doesn’t have a right to keep someone’s passport. This was not a even a hotel room, but a miserable old wooden box with pare paint, where the most expensive thing – a socket on the wall! I asked this man to show his ID to know who was taking our passports, he said he didn’t have any. This guy grasped keys, it was 2.00 a.m. and we had no choice rather than stay at least for one night without passports. In the morning it appeared that this guy is a boss here (!), and this made his night behavior even more disgusting. Next day 2 of us left hotel. No sorry from ‘hotel-owner’ were given, no prepaid money was returned. Resume. Good food, perfect location. Poor service, overpriced, threadbare rooms, owners making customers unhappy.... More

    We stayed here for 5 nights great place and good food .. food made according to ur taste. Exceptionally Great Service. Shafi and his team are great people. Will definitely come back and stay here. The staff would never say no for anything. They will go out of their way to make ur stay comfortable. Needed some medication for my child which was not available at a near by medical store shafi got it arranged for me without stepping out .. his person went all the at to mapusa to get it for us ... was a great help. A big thank you to the Sea Bird team for making our stay a memorable one. ... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
