    Pros: -Budget hotel, can be booked for around 1500 in season -A lot of good places to eat around that area in Candolim including curries and grills. -Powerful Godrej AC -What I really liked is that one of the shacks provided a beach recliner to laze on and watch and listen the waves endlessly at night (the shack just to the right at the entrance) -The shack worker also provided some massage service while resting on the beach recliner. -Good places to shop (Newton's supermarket) -Its great to see the Europeans dance to the live music in restaurants. There are atleast 4-5 restaurants we saw and all of them had live music with people dancing. -Staff at the hotel is courteous and helpful. Cons: -No lift, you can get the second floor and it can be a bit of task going up -The room we stayed in, no 2 (I may not remember the number correctly but its the one on the second floor to the left), was a deluxe room but the tap was leaking and it didn't seem to affect the management -The commode flush didn't have a proper knob but a twig -the commode wasn't 100% clean. Atleast that is what I look for in every hotel, a clean toilet and a good bed. -Although the bed was a double bed, there were two single mattresses kept side by side and we could feel the gap -A cup of tea was expensive, 50rs. Same for a few slices of bread and jam, 80rs -They geyser outlet wasn't joined to the mixer. So we ended up taking hot water directly from the outlet pipe of the geyser into the bucket. -Breakfast provided was just a choice of omelette or a single aloo paratha with choice of tea or coffee. -There is a slight opening for each room entrance at the top of the door (maybe for ventilation). This also allowed some light to get into the room at night. We were dead tired and hence could sleep. But it could be an issue for some who need total darkness.... More

    This is a budget hotel very near to the candolim beach . The beach is just 5 minutes walk from this hotel. The food is good and can be personalized as per the taste. The bar is well stocked. The rooms are equipped with AC and fridge ! The rooms are neat and clean. All rooms are equipped with balcony but practically no view. One can just sit and relax while having the drinks. The only source of entertainment within the hotel is good music on the restaurant and the pool table for playing. Owner Mr. Pasha however is very helpful and takes care of the guest very well....     Very clean food was good and veried the staff could not be friendlier, situation= bungalow rooms, bar restaurant, beach,sea, moderately priced. Will negotiate on price of rooms I would visit again. Its a fair distance to the nearest ATM, But a short walk to benaulim beach, and a 100 rupee ride to the ATM.... More

    Location is good. Hadly 200 metre from the beach. Staffs are very friendly.. Budget hotel. If you are with family, then this room will not be a good option. Room is affordable for friends trip. Food also good, but the price is bit higher than other hotels. ... More

Overview

Xavier Beach Resort has an in-house restaurant were guests can dine. It is situated at a distance of 11 km from the Mapusa Bus Stand and 19 km from the Karmali Railway Station. There are a total of 17 spacious guestrooms spread across 2 floors for accommodation. The rooms have amenities that include tea/coffee maker, bottled drinking water, wardrobe, attached balcony and attached bathroom with hot/cold water supply.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
