    Located 3 kms off Shoghi from the Kalka- Shimla highway, the resort is a good place to chill away from the crowds and traffic of Shimla. We booked an attic room and stayed for 2 days. The room was huge, clean and well furnished. The views from the room are amazing, enhanced by the wall to wall glass windows. You wake up with the mighty Himalayas in sight, which is an experience in itself. The sitout would a perfect place to chill during summers, but was pretty much useless for us because of the cold gusty winds when we visited. The food tastes good, but is ridiculously overpriced. So much so that we mostly preferred to eat out, whenever possible. The tea served here is crap. Warm water would taste better. Was a huge disappointment considering the cold weather and our general love for tea. The staff is courteous, polite and accommodating. No complaints here. Although our room had an AC with heating (all attic rooms have 1), it was pretty incompetent in the extreme cold and we were provided an additional heater from the office on request promptly. Room service in general is quite prompt. The hotel also provides services for booking cabs for local tours. They have tie ups with local operations at Shoghi, and this should generally be cheaper than booking a cab from Solan or Shimla. One bad experience was that they had a bigger group visiting at the same time and an outdoor party was arranged for the group with very loud music which lasted almost 3 hours. Frankly, we hated this as the only reason for booking a place away from Shimla was to experience the peace and calmness. Overall, a I would rate the experience between good and excellent. Would I like to visit again? Probably. But surely one can explore many other alternatives at the price vs services that they charge.... More

    The Agoda website said the delux rooms had bathtub, but it was not there and also the staff were unprofessional when asked about it. The rooms were poorly maintained and the house keeping had to be called for each and every requirement. It is not worthstaying in this place 15 kms from Shimla ..... U might find better property in shimla... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
