The food is absolutely incredible!

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. As the title says - the food was amazing! There wasn’t a single dish we didn’t like. It’s a set price for lunch and dinner and you don’t get a choice but don’t let that put you off.
The only negatives were that we felt that on making enquiries for trekking, the price quoted was too high. We managed to arrange this ourselves for much less.
It would also be beneficial if guests know in advance what activities are taking place. We went to a cooking demo after a member of staff invited us along. We then found out that there was tea tasting the day before but we hadn’t been told so missed out.
Rural location with great views
on Dec 20, 2019
The first room we were offered was situated overlooking an unfinished (illegal) concrete building, so we asked for another room. That one had a lovely view, was in a quiet location on the edge of the Estate but the room itself smelt musty and needed a bit of redecorating. We loved relaxing on our terrace early morning and in the evening.
The pool is secluded and peaceful, with wonderful views of the tea plantation and beyond. The garden had many colourful flowers and lots of bird life.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful building (with a library and games room above) and the food served was good but we felt it was adapted to the non-Indian palate and it did not seem as authentic and spicy as in all the other places we stayed at in Kerala.
The hotel offers a complimentary 4 pm walk with a Naturalist, which is well worth doing.
The managers and all the staff were outstanding and really cared about their guests. The smiles, the service and their responses to problems or queries were fantastic, absolutely 100%. We were very impressed.
Middle of a Tea Plantation Raising Coffee and Cardamom
on Dec 15, 2019
A small out-of-the-way coffee plantation set among tea plantations in an idyllic setting some ways out of town. Very peaceful with teat tasting, coffee plantation walking tours, etc. Most remarkable was the very high quality of service as they escorted up and down to our Planter's Villa room and brought almost all our meals at no extra charge directly to our room. Very comfortable with great views out across the mountains and plantations. Small on-demand electric water heater was a small drawback that meant you were limited in hot water and had to wait at times. Otherwise rather remote and very peaceful off the busy beaten track down a small narrow and rough road to get to -- but certainly worth the peace and quiet.
Enjoy nature at its best
on Dec 13, 2019
We three couples stayed three nights. Excellent place to stay with nature- in the midst of tea garden, cinnamon and coffee plantations. Food is too good- with fixed menu ( for lunch - Kerala lunch/sandwich lunch - dinner - mix of various vegetables and bread decided in advance)and freshly cooked. No la carte. However staff is very cooperative to adjust menu to your needs.
Not much activities except nature walk.
However if you like nature - very good. You can enjoy group togetherness.
team do organise some other activities like tea tasting and info session, bar-be-que.
One full day we spent to rest and enjoy togetherness.
Only one irritation- the road from Munnar city to estate is bad.
Wonderful Estate !

I stayed 2 nights at this beautiful hotel. The room was large and clean, with a balcony with a view. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff are all very attentive and could not have been friendlier. There is a complimentary afternoon tea, with different types of tea with an Indian snack. WiFi is good throughout. This is a very well run hotel, and a beautiful place to stay, just outside Munnar.
