Good experience, safe for women
on Sep 3, 2017
The owner, manager and staff are all extremely helpful and cooperative. Got the 'Aqua' room which was cosy and comfortable. A three day stay at this place felt safe for women travelers. Location is within walking distance of the beach. Prompt room service. Their pool is tiny though. Also experienced some power cuts on the first day, but they do have a back up generator. All in all a good experience.
A nice hotel but requires an update

I stayed here in Jan 2017 and found the place to be good. The rooms were clean and roomy.
The hotel was located close to Tito's Lane and other market places. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There were a nice selection of books available at the reception to read from.
A couple of things the place requires is a better food menu and drinks. The hotel does not serve alcohol, which in a place like Goa is surely a miss

We are regulars of Thalasa and Antares. One of our friends recommended Waters. So we decided to walk up and have a look. The lady at the reception was exceptionally rude when we said we wanted to take a look at the place. She said we couldn't take a look and so we walked away. I can't believe people in the service industry can behave like this.

We went in the month of October when the season just started...this place is very centrally located place in Baga tucked opposite to the lane of Baga Deck restaurant away from all the beach road noise...Yet 400-500M walk you are right at there on the road surrounded by all cafe, restaurants. The beach is also 0.5km away walking...
We stayed in the Red suite which was quite spacious and with a great bathroom...Very clean place and beautifully planned...has a very colonial feel to it...service is also very nice...Yes it is a bit slow but when in Goa what's the hurry? Need to be patient...We mostly had breakfast only and went around for the remaining food...The pool looked tempting but we din't use coz we were at the beach mostly and it rained in between during the period of our stay....
Since it was so central, we could move around easily to different places and come back for anything that we wanted to the room...They also arranged for the bike and drop off to airport...The staff was courteous enough to say that we could arrange our own vehicles outside if we wanted...overall a great experience...
Would love to stay at the White room or the olive room next time...a must try boutique hotel in Goa!
