Nice simple hotel, comfortable room with tile floors and air conditioning. The beds were comfortable. Typical European breakfast, we were thrilled to see small fruit cups on the third morning. The coffee Americano was fantastic!

Hotel Marzia is a nice hotel with nice and clean rooms with airconditioning, free WiFi and flatscreen TV. Everything is well maintained. They offer a good breakfast. Friendly staff. Easy connection to downtown Florence using the T1 tram. Easiest way is to drive to the Villa Constanza station (free parking) and take the tram. Takes about 20 min. to Allemanni Station downtown Florence. The hotel sells the tickets (1,20 euro one way). Hotel has a nice garden to sit in the evening and a patio to have breakfast outside.
Perfect hotel for affordable Florence weekend

I stopped here on a single overnight visit enroute to our home in Naples. Booked a few hours in advance of arrival via TripAdvisor/Booking.com the result was an unexpected find: A superb, clean, modern, hidden jewel of a family-run hotel. My room was simple and perfect, with a great TV, very comfortable bed, and large modern bathroom. Frankly, more than we usually get at the 3-star hotel level as we travel throughout Italy! The large free breakfast selection was also much more than normal in Italy. We usually get a lame cornetto (croissant) and coffee. Hotel Marzia had a large fresh selection with excellent pastries, cereal, meusli, yogurt, breakfast meats, and lots of fresh fruit. A barista prepared a fresh cappuccino to order. Quiet and comfortable, I always travel with earplugs in Europe because something about city noises, the stone floors everywhere, or a late night guest nearby wakes me up. At Hotel Marzia, I didn't need the earplugs and got a great night's sleep. Free parking in their private parking lot in back, with locked gate at night. A superb restaurant, Antiche Torri, is across the street. See separate review for that amazing restaurant. The Hotel Marzia desk will give you a card that gets you a discount at the restaurant. We will definitely come back as a family and use Hotel Marzia as our base of operations for a weekend in Florence soon. The hotel is very close to a metro, so you can leave your car parked for free, and metro in to the city!
Low key and friendly, and perfect for a road stop

Beware of the five star reviews here. The hotel incentivises them by offering a free night's stay. Which is a shame, because it's not necessary to bribe the customers to get good reviews - for a basic but clean room not far from the autostrada when you're heading to or past Florence, this place does just fine.
I had a single room, with the typical rock hard Italian bed and a pillow which was apparently made from brick - but it was OK once the air conditioning finally got a grip (it took a while because it had been off all day so the room was a sauna, plus it takes some experimenting to work out which of the two controllers is actually the boss...)
Decent and presentable breakfast, with friendly coffee service, and the best latte I'd had in Italy to date. Overall, for 45 euro it was really pretty good value.

Very nice place with friendly staff, good location which took us 30 mins to get into Florence.
We had a nice room with balcony, free water added to the fridge daily & reliable wifi. Air con worked well, although they use the keycard for power so you couldn't have it cool for you to enter.
All in all a good stay, my only single issue (very minor) is that they advertised a washing service when I booked, and even supplied bags for it in the room, but didn't know what I was referring to when I asked. However, I will state that my Italian speaking skills stop abruptly after "si" and "gratzie" so I will put this down to my inability to communicate properly.
