    Its small hotel but good one. Right on the Mysore Ooty road with lots of parking space which is an advantage. Rooms are spacious & good however bathroom is bit complex as dry & wet area is not very well seperated. Cherry Cross which is centre of Ooty is around 3kms where you will find lot of resturants & market. Hotel is having inhouse resturant which is good for south indian food but north Indian variety is okay & can be improved. Breakfast is good. People are courtious & ready to help you out quickly which is plus point. Overall a good place to stay.... More

    Very elegant place & very reasonable price

    Hotel is at the center of Ooty, with Botanical garden Rose garden & few other spots in the near vicinity within 2km to 5km and 3km from market. It was an easy go connectivity. Price is very reasonable, staff was courteous specially the staff serving in the restaurant which is inside the hotel premises. York are the basic rooms which are very spacious for 2 people occupancy with room for minimum of 3-4 for which hotel provides extra mattresses. Overall experience was excellent. ... More

    Dined at the restaurant at Vinnca Westdowns in Ooty earlier this month.A nice quiet restaurant with delicious food.Their mutton rogan josh was outstanding.....so was their very innovative bamboo biryani.Service by Mohan was prompt and courteous.Looking forward to visiting the restaurant again....     I have booked the hotel 10 days ago during peak season for 9500 RS. I stayed there for 2 nights. Booking was done via Agoda.com. I stayed in room 301(they have mentioned room type as superior room) from 17 may 2019 to 19 may 2019. Negative points : 1. Below average rooms for the price. 2. Both Night lamps were not working(from 17 to 19 may). 3. During evening the room phone was not working for nearly 3 hours(17 may 2019). 4. Too many mosquitoes were there in the room. If I am giving 9.5k how can I expect this. After I called management, they have provided good night mosquito repellent. 5. WiFi was not working on 19 may. When I called them they told that their server is down. 6. Bathroom had some fowl smell. Don't know from where it was coming. 7. Bathroom floor was vary old fashioned (even my home has better flooring than this one). Needs urgent renovation. 8. There is nothing there apart from the room(no pool,bar, sport activity etc). It's not a resort, it's just simple room. 9. Hotel location is not good. If you want to spend some peacefull holiday then I will not suggest this property at all. No view. All surrounded by commercial buildings. Also it is near main road which is bit noisy. 10. Service was very slow and they forget the things. On 18 may at night I have ordered simple mineral water. They had not provided. The used coffee cup which we have kept outside the room(two chairs and one glass table is kept in front of every room), it was not cleared till next morning. 11. While online booking they have shown that bath tub will be there. But in 301 room no such thing was there. 12. Only single window was there in room without any view(useless). 13. There was problem with shower. Either it was giving extreme hot or extreme cold water. Adjustment for making it lukewarm was not possible for me. Plus points : 1. Hotel staff was well behaved and cooperative. This was the only favouring point. But it is expected if you are giving 9.5 k par day. 2. Food was ok. I think it was fresh as for every order they were telling that it will take 25-30 min for preparing the item. 3. Many things are nearby(railway station, market, garden). My review is for the service which I am getting for 9.5k and for the deluxe rooms(superior rooms). I think it is very much overpriced. The price should be around 3.5k. Even if somebody wants to stay here I will suggest that don't go for superior rooms/deluxe. And also avoid room number 301 at any cost. Sorry for my bad English.   5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
