Simply owsm place ! Like heaven on earth !! The place is mntnd so well that everything looks as good as new. Got to spend less time here, but was treated very royally... Special thanks to Ajay and their head chef ! The yummylicious food, the romantic pool, the huge spacious well designed ethnic suites and the most courteous staff...they seem to have it all ! For the ultimate exotic, romantic experience, The Umaid Mahal is a perfect place to visit. With a Rajasthani palace ambiance, you’ll feel truly Royale. A highly recommended must visit place for all ! Will surely visit again with a large group next time !

We stayed in this hotel after a recommendation from a friend. And he was right about the Beauty of the Hotel. It looks stunning with a golden gate and everything is like you expect it in India. The location is okay but there are no restaurants near by or in a walkable distance you have to drive with a taxi everywhere. Don’t use hotel taxi it is way overpriced!! Download a Uber app or look for local taxi companies. The room was very comfortable but noisy. You can hear every sound from the hallway. We had a room to the street side and it’s soo loud at night so ask for a backyard room!!
The TV didn’t worked but this wasn’t a problem for us. The breakfast was fine as well as the dinner but don’t eat Indian food there it is very touristic and overpriced for Indian circumstances.
Now the staff they were nice and polite and they made a lunch box for us because we had to go early. But they are saying they have a concierge service which they don’t. Yes you can book some sight seeing tours there but I ask if someone can organise me some stamps(because getting those in Jaipur is not easy) and they just said no. No help at all. This is not a concierge this is a travel bureau.
So after our stay I got two emails saying that I please should make a tripadvisor review. This too much please don’t do that.
But we still enjoyed our stay so 3 out of 5

Perfect Palace Turned Hotel in the City of Jaipur
on Feb 1, 2019
Jaipur is one of the most commercial cities in Rajasthan and that means the city has very little place for old structures.
So when we came across this palace turned into hotel option in Jaipur and the recommending reviews, we booked this place for a 2N/3D stay here.
And that decision we did not regret. Centrally located in Bani Park a, residential area in the city. But need to keep in mind the traffic that can trouble especially during peak hours.
You have very few hotels in Rajasthan that have maintained the aesthetics of the palace and combined it with the comforts of the new era.
The rooms were clean, maintained well, cleanliness was upto the desired levels.
Staff were also hospitable, ever smiling and helpful for any small requests that we would have.
I must make a special mention that I accidentally left some silver rings on the bed while check out but I got them back when I contacted the hotel an hour after my check out.
Opted for buffet breakfast here; variety was limited but food was delicious.
All in all a decent option in mid range budget.

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. Our experience is very satisfying. The service and food of the hotel is very good. A nice place to stay. The travel desk is also very good. I have to specially mentioned the name of the drivers Mr. Bhagavan & Govind for their behavior and knowledge on Jaipur city and on its history.
