A beautiful but a poorly maintained resort
on Dec 24, 2017
First things first. We booked a classic room whose pictures we saw on TripAdvisor. When we went there, we were shown a very small room (room no 20) that looked nothing like the rooms on the website. On being asked we were told those are also classic rooms. But we stood our ground and then we were given a better room(room no 10) which wasn't a classic room either. So please book your rooms after getting to know in detail the interiors and facilities. The classic rooms shown in the website are room no 1-4 only. The resort is no wonder sprawling and beautiful but pathetically maintained.Room service is ok, but they don't come to clear the plates soon. Crows munch on the food. Food is decent but price is exorbitant. No play areas for small kids. Restaurant is decent. Rooms were not at all well maintained. Got stained bedsheets, towels, smelly washrooms with no curtain separators it was kept in the cupboard god knows for what! They need to maintain the property. Overall it was an average experience. The climate was pleasant and there were trees all around. That was the only plus point. Only book this resort if going with family. Else you can pass this.

We went for a day visit with our pet dog. The resort doesn't allow pets in the main restaurant though they will set up table near pool and serve food there. Food is consistently good and service fast and attentive.. View of the sea is breathtaking

Words are not enough to describe the ambiance, food. Beautiful overlooking Arabian Sea, awesomely designed, well decorated rooms, mouth watering sea food and other delicious food. It’s a must visit place. U TAN you are awesome.

Went to celebrate parent's anniversary - awesome place, staff was cooperative & good service. Big swimming pool at this property. Our room had a huge balcony overseeing the pool & sea. Good sea food at reasonable rates.
Only 1 negative - being a beach front hotel in a fishermen's village, you can smell fish in the air.

Took a weekend trip to utan which is in the middle of fisherman's village. The resort is nice for weekend getaways but the service is slow and pathetic. They have hammocks to laze around and few activities to keep you engaged. Breakfast was really disappointing and mismanaged
