I booked this hotel through Treebo's website which showed there was a room available in 03-Aug-2017. But after a long train journey I arrived at the hotel to find out for the past 15 days there has been some plumbing work going on.
The security guy couldn't understand why they are still taking bookings. So I called the customer care from the middle of the road, literally. Thank you treebo!
The customer care guy doesn't have a clue that work has been going on in this hotel. He tried to book me in another hotel which was far away from my point of interest. So I had to cancel the booking and had to find a room on my own.
My previous stay wasn't nice either. The front desk's incompetence made me contact their customer care department to help sort out the mess. So kindly keep away from this hotel or from any treebo hotels for that matter unless you are ready to

Horrible front staff and rooms

Stayed here for a visit to the Consulate. The proximity to the consulate is probably the only thing good about this place. I've stayed at a few other treebo hotels and this was the worst by far. The front desk staff was rude and insisted on us making the payment at check-in. We were tired and really wanted to rest a bit but the check-in process took over half hour to complete. We were also forced to make a choice of what we'd like to have for breakfast the next morning during check-in.
The rooms were small and had a stale smell to them and hadn't been aired out in a long time. We had 2 rooms for the 4 of us, but both rooms had the same smell. Even the corridors had smelly carpets. The worst thing - MOSQUITOES!!! rooms had lots of mosquitoes which was really strange for an air conditioned room.
The bathrooms had not been maintained well and had stained taps and a very dirty mirror. The towels provided were old, rough and worn-out (one of them actually had holes). They hadn't bothered to change the hand towel which looked used and disgusting.
The breakfast was served at the promised time to our rooms. It tasted alright but the coffee served alongside was bad (served in a flask). The cups in the rooms were dirty and unusable. Bread was not toasted and stale. 2 boiled eggs were served (no choice to select fried eggs).
For the next morning, we requested 2 portions of south indian breakfast instead of 1, and skipped the bread butter option. However we were still served only 1 portion sans the bread butter jam. Just very disorganized in my opinion.

I booked this hotel for my parents and they had a torrid experience. The staff was rude the location was a place where people defecate in the open in front of the Hotel.
