    A stay to remember.

    I stayed at The Zuri White Sands between the 1st to 15th December. Check in - On arrival check in was a little disorganised and a little slow however it was tolerable, the reception staff were polite and the bell boys were friendly enough taking our suitcases to our rooms. We had paid for two premier double rooms however we were given one double and one twin (two single beds) due to the time we arrived (4.30am) we were too tired to ask to be moved and just swapped between our party. Rooms – The rooms are spacious and clean however the floors could be cleaned thoroughly as we found then to be a little grubby. The bathrooms are adequate and the rain fall shower is amazing. The beds are ok, comfortable enough for the amount of time spent in the rooms. The air-conditioning is great, however I do feel that it sound be allowed to be set done lower than 18 degrees. The balconies are a good size and are pretty private, there is a sign asking for guests not to dry clothes on the balcony and to use the drying cord in the bathroom however this does not dry clothes. The television has a good selection of channels for all nationalities. The in room toiletries are good and the tea tray is well stocked. Lighting in the rooms is good however there are so many switches you do get confused. The rooms are nice however they could do with a lick of paint and a bit of TLC. Rooms Cleaning – Rooms are cleaned once a day with an option of an evening clean. You are give 4 complimentary bottles of water per day which is great. The only thing I will say is that more attention needs to be paid to floors and that they could to with a deep clean as they weren’t very clean. Staff are friendly and polite. Swimming Pool – The swimming pool is the highlight of The Zuri, the layout is superb and the sunbeds are not on top of each other so you do not feel cramped in. The water temperature is fine and not to cold, it is not too deep in places so would be good for children. There were a few tiles loose on the bottom of the pool and the tiles around the pool are cracked and loose but for a busy hotel this doesn’t spoil the pool. Waterfall Café – Nice, clean and helpful staff. Great selection on offer for breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Food was always hot and tasty. If your server is Sandeep then you will be well looked after, I cant thank her enough she always had a warm welcome and a smile for us at any time. Tangerine – Clean and contemporary but drinks pricing needs to be looked at as it was expensive. Sake – Great food but at a high cost! Rambooze – This is a great little bar down by the beach, however it was only open about 6 night we are there which was highly disappointing as it was nice to venture over to after your evening meal. Gardens and Grounds – The grounds are immaculate and well looked after, everything is swept (even the grass) the grounds men and women do an absolutely fantastic job. The beach – I have read 20+ reviews which state that the beach is a 20 min walk or more. PLEASE IGNORE these, you will find a path at the back of the swimming pool which leads straight down to the beach. This is a 5 minute walk (10 minutes if waling slowly) the path will lead you past the rambooze and onto the white sands. You will need to sign out from the complex at security. It is an absolutely beautiful beach and the sand is the softest I have ever come across. Weddings – We encountered 3 Indian weddings whilst we were there, I do think that the hotel should let people know that they are a hotel which does host Asian weddings as when these are on the hotel is VERY busy and is VERY noisy for people trying to relax and take it easy. With this being said, it was lovely to watch and to listen to the music but it could also be a nuisance to some guests especially when certain areas of the hotel are closed off to guests who have paid a lot of money to stay. All in all we have a fabulous stay at The Zuri White Sands, I cannot comment on the casino as we didn’t use it. The hotel is fab and the staff are lovely but I will stay that things do need a but of TLC and maintenance, walls need painting and floor tiles need fixing once this has all been done then in my opinion it would go from being fabulous to being amazing. I would recommend the Zuri to anyone wanting to go to Goa, we loved it here and thank you to all who made our stay and my birthday one to remember, we`ll definitely be back again!!... More

    Excellent Wedding in Zuri

    I do events & weddings in Goa. I have planned many weddings in Goa. We had booked Zuri for a wedding and we had excellent co-operation and support from the Sales Team ( Sujan Sarkar, Sinfo) along with Mr. Trideep. The Chef Farooq Baig was very understanding on the clients requirements and delivered the cuisine required. I have to say, that its a great place to do weddings and they have one of the best teams to cater to our clients requirements.... More

    Amazing Destination Wedding at the Zuri

    My wife and I got married at the Zuri on the 10th and 11th of November 2017. We visited the hotel in July 2017 and stayed for a week then and again for a week in November 2017. We had the most incredible wedding experience. The hotel management were fantastic in catering to all our needs. There were a lot of meetings to arrange things but in the end things worked out perfectly. A big thank you to the staff for making it so smooth in the end (Special thanks to Kedar and Sujan for all your hard work). We are from the UK and communicated mainly via email. It was however much easier to sort everything out in person at the resort. Glad we got there a few days early to go through everything in detail with management staff. We had about 100 guests attend the wedding from all over the world. The feedback we had from them was excellent. They loved the resort facilities, the cleanliness and activities. The biggest highlight was the food. Incredible food throughout our stay and the quality was always maintained. The chef went out of his way in helping any guests with food allergies. The grounds are maintained to a high standard and the pool is wonderful. The service was exceptional and the staff were always helpful. The tangerine bar was a great place to have pre-drinks before the wedding. The manager (Wellington) kindly kept the bar open later than usual and all our guests had a wonderful evening. The horizon lawn was perfect for our wedding ceremony with an amazing view of the beach behind us. We very highly recommend this resort whether it be for a family, group of friends or couples holiday. It was the perfect place for our dream destination wedding and could not be happier that we chose the Zuri for our special occasion! We will definitely being going back soon and our only regret was that we did not stay longer!... More

The Zuri White Sands Goa Resort and Casino is situated 0.2 km from Varca beach at Madgaon city in Goa. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a beautiful garden. This hotel in Goa offers 154 well appointed rooms, well equipped with comfortable bed, 32 inch LCD TV, a mini bar and many more. Each room has an attached bathroom with various toiletries. Hotel Check-in Time is 03 PM, Check-out Time is 11 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. Booking Policies

  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
