    A movie themed hotel with a stark contrast between rooms and restaurant

    This is a hotel with a movie theme in all the rooms and the corridors. The rooms are well appointed but the sockets need to be looked at as they do not keep the plugs in place. Also the corridors have poor lighting so it is difficult to open the rooms in the evening. However I have to say the restaurant is a stark contrast to the rooms. The staff walk around with sullen faces, the food is unappetizing and of a poor standard. The butter had a bad after taste making the toasted bread inedible. Despite several requests, the staff in the restaurant either do not understand what you say to them or appear to listen and then just leave you waiting. They all need to be trained in how to welcome guests and provide a good standard of service. On our last day the we had to leave early and the breakfast was not even ready. So I took some bananas for our journey and was told by the captain in the restaurant to leave the bananas for other guests. I explained that as there were 6 of us, I was only taking 6 bananas. I found this comment to be grossly offensive and inappropriate as we had paid for our breakfasts. Not impressed! On the plus side they did give us a container so we could eat some food on the way. We are a family of six and even though the rooms were nice, food and service are important factors so we cannot give this hotel a good rating.... More

    Excellent food and great ambiance and enjoy massage too

    While stay in munnar, we visited restaurant of this Hotel Silvertip. Food was yummy, it takes time but everything was tasty and reasonable price. They also has massage centre where I had neck, shoulder and hand massage which was good. This hotel has filmy theme.... More

    Good hotel but strange karma

    We came here during our tour and that was after Radjastan the first Kerala Hotel. Maybe it was the result of the heavy floods but the hotel seemed deserted and not well kept. Strange mood all in all. The food was good, the rooms were clean, sometimes the hot water was missing... As I said, may be the people were still shocked from trhe floosd. Nect time Munnar again buit a different hotel.... More

    Wonderful Time in Silver Tips

    As a first time visit to Kerala, my husband and I looked for places to visit and we came across this place called Munar on the web. The place looked beautiful and we didn't have a second thought on wether we are going or not. The very next day, we packed and went. Three hours on the road, we stopped in a juice bar and had tea (I know, juice bar but hey, tea was invented in Kerala). There was two hours more before we would reach Munnar so we took our time in our stopover and walked over to the falls (more like the devil's playground) to take photo. Unfortunately, I couldn't stand the height and refused to stay a second longer. Long story short, we reached the place and checked in Silver Tips Hotel. We didn't check other hotels, and I was more than happy that our first choice was this one. Because this hotel was a, awesome b, beautiful c, charming (the staffs especially) d, dazzling (oh! the sunset and sunrise scenery!), and the list goes on. These are some heart warming experiences I had, 1. We sat down for breakfast and was ordering when, a staff asked if we need a crib (that was not the word she used but it meant the same thing). I was baffled. Crib here in the restaurant? Who would need one? Why don't you also bring a swing and throw in a nanny too? I was kidding myself BUT they did bring a rolling crib (the medieval kind, so pretty I wanted to take it home) and a girl took the baby and said she'll take care of her until we finish. Now, why can't every hotel have such things? 2. The night after we had supper, we walked around the hotel and found the game room (is that what you call a room with all the games inside, like the arcade only there are also table tennis and inhouse games?). Needless to say, the night, though tired we were, was stretched longer. I played table tennis with the staff (yes, there were assistants in that room) and was glad he let me win! he he.... More

    The only move themed hotel of India. We were tired when we arrived in this hotel but the staff lifted our spirits in the gloomy weather. The Guest relationship Managed Ms Sophia leaded from front and talked in great details about the hotel and the theme. She also upgraded our rooms without any added charges on our slight request. She happily escorted us to the suit room of Chennai Express where King Khan had stayed for the shooting of film. We had great 2 day stay experience of this hotel. Please do stay in this hotel just for the sake of its unique theme. ... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
