    Losing its charm!

    This was my third visit to this hotel. I stayed for one night during the 3rd week of December with my family. There were 3 of us and this time my experience was not a very good one, starting from the parking entry. I have a advise for the hotel staff to put up mandatory reserved parking boards on the designated parking spots which are reserved for your staff or your owner. I drove from Pune early in the morning and entered the hotel to park in the basement area, suddenly the parking attendant says, don't park here, ye seth ki jagah hai (Owner parks here). Fine no issues. I take my car out and tried parking alongside a couple of cabs and he once again insists on parking very close to the cars leaving as much space for other vehicles. I know that I had parked appropriately...but this guy was insisting. I requested that I am tired driving and will move and adjust the vehicle if needed call me. But he still insists. I tell him that this is my 3rd visit and I know that being a weekday your hotel parking is never full and remains almost empty overnight also. Still this parking attendant insists......this really put me off. I told him let me atleast check in and come back...he still insists to park very close to the car next to mine and leave as much space as possible......not a good behavior.... Coming to the room part, we were given a boutique room which was too small for 3 people. Please don't go by the pics of the rooms, they are way too enlarged...but the reality is something else. Fine, we settled for that room. Breakfast is really not good and very less choices....better to eat outside...also the dining area is stinky and feels that the furniture is not cleaned since last 10-20 years..... Now the reception part. The fellow at the reception was friendly but the next day I had some work and was going out when he asked me to clear all bills and then go outside...I told him that I will come well before your check out time and clear food bills. But he insisted again and again...No issues I cleared the bill. Being a third time guest this experience was not good overall. Thanks Roa, now my last choice for stay in Ghatkopar.... More

    The place is crumbling

    I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The first night I spent in a room which had damp walls and was extremely smelly. The AC thermostat was also not working. The next day, I asked for a change of room. The second room was better yet had seepage through walls. Blame it on the Mumbai rains? The chair provided in the room was a bar chair. While working, I reclined a little bit and whoah.... the chair toppled over. Given me a bruised elbow.... The staff tried their best to help out, but complained that the owner does not spend in maintenance. No more visits here for me... Pluses : very close to Godrej, Vikhroli if that's your work area. RK restaurant is about 50 m away... serves good food..... More

    Very practical stay

    Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for my Mumbai trip The hotel is very practical. Check in was smooth yet time taking Rooms and bathrooms are small, yet cozy and comfortable. The only drawback being the room service. The boys seemed hungry for tips and served as if we were a liability. We used to get up late so couldn't enjoy the breakfast The plus point is the location.     Excellent place to stay near Powai/Hiranandani

    This is one of the most economical and best hotels to stay near IIT Powai and Hiranandani area. The R city mall is nearby only. We stayed there with friends on the way back from Lonavala. Lovely and spacious rooms with a calm aura. The best place to spend quality time in a quiet atmosphere, away from Mumbai traffic.... More

    Ok for short stay

    The hotel seems to have a lot going for it but age is showing through. The rooms are quite spacious and the staff is courteous and eager to assist. The property is old and under maintenance work. The entire front was under scaffold when I visited. The washrooms are small and due to the age of the rooms and the humidity in Mumbai, rooms sometime have a smell caused by dampness. The menu is small and limited and the breakfast buffet is tiny with no options for non-vegetarians apart from eggs. The friendly staff tries to make up for all this and mostly succeeds in keeping your stay pleasant.... More

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
