Excellent customer service at Rivasa Goa

My family stayed at the Rivasa resort calangute after travelling on London Gatwick to Goa Tui flight .We received a warm welcome by the reception staff and hotel manager .We booked the suite which included Breakfast .The rooms were clean and our bed were comfortable .The breakfast was satisfying and customer service was good at the restaurant attached to this hotel.I informed the manager that it was my sons birthday and they were kind enough to send us a complimentary cake which was very much appreciated by us .We will be going back to Goa next year and will certainly stay at the Rivasa resort calangute once again .Great job

Mr Sandeep of Rivasa resort and Bikash jee of Rivasa Comfort. How carelessly they duped and fraud tried to cheat. While booking I called them regarding the facilities, they commented saying Pls dony book thru the web, we will book ur stay on arrival and u can pay cash (I have call recording). i told repeatedly tht i have flight from Assam to Goa so ensure everything is ok. Bt on arrival they downgraded the room saying deluxe is all sold so u have no option. I told tht u told me to cancel online and pay cash at desk. The samelessy stood along lobby manager with sorry face. We just left before they cud further cheat us. (infact now they thought we had no other option but stay at their mercy and pay whatever price they want and take the most congested standard room with space of bed only)

Hotel was good enough to stay hotel service, swimming pool every thing was just perfect calangute beach was just 5mins walkable distance to beach best part of this hotel is staffing there staffs are really very polite specially Mr Bobby perfect man for hospitality.

I had a great stay at your hotel and special thanks to the handsome guy at reception mr.bobby who made our stay very comfortable and awesome. Very humble polite and helpful staff. We will definitely recommend to others also.

The worst experience in my travel history. Room was a playground for cockroaches. On top of that, when brought to the reception staff's attention, his response was it was due to the weather. I bet they do not know something called maintenance. Everyday, the room lock would get auto-locked around 11 a.m. and we had to go down (from the third floor. Mind you, the property does not have a lift) to the reception and get it unlocked. Power is another deal-breaker. They do not operate the genset during outage. Front officer staff very very rude, not knowledgeable and uncooperative. The extra mattress looked like it had been bought at a garage sale. Toilet seats had dirty stains.
In spite of reading the bad reviews before booking this property, I assumed they would have taken care of the earlier complaints and made things better. My foolishness!
I take it I am the one to blame rather than the property for not considering the reviews of my fellow travelers.
If you plan to book this property, I would suggest you brace yourselves for an awful experience that would leave a sour taste.
