    This is not a pleasant stay for our family New Year Holiday

    I was planning a trip to visit Angkor Village for my family of 4 persons. Our first priority was a Cambodian-owned hotel as we wanted our spent (though not big) would be gone to Cambodian, and we were recommended Robam Inn. I went to the website of the hotel to book the room for us, after some changes, we finally reserved a family room from Dec 28, 2018 to Jan 01, 2019. We checked in as per schedule, and upon checking in, we find the room a bit small for 3 beds, and this is acceptable for the room rate. My sister went to take shower, and realized that the hot water was not available. My mom use the toilet and found the the flushing didn't work properly. I had to run down to the reception for fixing and it took quite a long time for them to send their technical person to fix it. During the first night, the room was so cold, I tried to increase the temperature of the room via the controller, however, it didn't get effective though our wanted temperature showed in the controller monitor. I then tried to turn off the aircon, and it didn't work either, at dawn, i had to withdraw the key from the general switch to turn off the aircon, and off course the light in the room also turned off. The morning of next day, before heading off to see Angkor, I was informing the receptionist that we were not happy with the room and told the person which systems in the room needed to be fixed. After we finished the day, coming back to the hotel and seeing the room was turn down properly, everything was put in order but one of the blanket was taken away. I had to run down to the reception counter asking for the blanket back, and again, this took long time. My mom used the small bathroom and again the flush didn't work properly, we had to fix it ourselves. And the aircon working condition still the same. Too disappointed, we decided to shorten our trip, so I informed the reception of our early departure early morning of Dec 30, 2018 before our 2nd day visiting temple. In the afternoon, when we came back to the hotel, and Western-looked staff told me that they would charge us the night of Dec 31, 2018 as per the hotel policy, however, when the booking confirmation emailed to me, there was no such a policy attached. I explained to them it's not possible, then she was threatening to call police, I explained to her it make sense if the policy stated in the email, and she was persistent to call the police, then I finally agreed with her solution - to call police to solve the issue. (She looked at me like I will get arrested immediately if the police comes) I was waiting for them to call the police at the reception counter for around 30 mins, but no action from them. I finally had to repeat how unhappy we were with the room, then she told me if we are not happy, why didn't we leave immediately (not sure if this is the proper response to show a customer care service), she said they fixed these systems, I trusted they fixed, however, those system no longer can be fixed, they must be replaced with new one. We had to check out in the afternoon as per their wish and had to move to other hotel. Now, I went back home, checked their hotel website, and again, there is no early departure policy there. I really don't understand 4 stars rating with their response, their reaction with customers and twisting their own policy, threatening customers in order to get one room night that customer didn't use. Why didn't they check all basic facilities that make customers feel comfortable when staying there before they check in? The breakfast is simple yet everything is fresh, we like the baguette.... More

The Residence Hotel and Apartments is located near Powai (1.5 Km) and Vihar Lake (2 Km). It is close by to the famous L&T Company and 6 Km from the International Airport. Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.

  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
