    Hotel with tiny bathroom! I’m a big fan of this hotel due to blazing room service 1) Property - Its a bit confusing property if you are using cab, you may tend to drive ahead. Once you enter you may feel going in a residential property. The lighting in the reception is very dim and looks very blinding in the morning 2) Room - Rooms are nice and basic. The thing which might discomfort you is bathroom. It’s so small that you really need to be careful 3) Staff & Service - I have only good words for both. They are super fast, specially room service. 4) Food - the quality of food is very good and the preparation is yummy.     I've been here only one night. The hotel is quite old and rooms are not so good as in photos. Breakfast is not so various, mainly indian dishes. Good position to go for a walk in Bandra. Above all this is not a 4 stars hotel for sure.... More

    We recently did a long stay (20 days) at The Oriental Residency Hotel in Khar which was excellent in every way. We got to know all the staff from the Training Manager Nelson Pereira, the Front Desk Clifford, Deepak, Alam (sorry guys I forgot the rest of you). The Restaurant staff Chef Ahmed, Chef Pratap, Balraj, Charlie, Buffet Breakfast Arun Shetty and all the helpful staff. The Housing keeping Supervisors made sure our room was cleaned every day and our laundry was delivered on time. We never missed home as the Chefs were easy and knew exactly how we wanted our lunches and dinners prepared. Nelson Pereira is good at goggle and we could count on him to find what we wanted. Arun Shetty knew exactly how we liked our tea and breakfast. A big thank you to all of you. All in all we had a wonderful time and a big laugh with all the staff including the Guards at the gate. The credit for all this goes to the Managing Director Rohit Shetty of The Oriental Residency. Well done.... More

    Excellent Hotel Would Highly Recommend It

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Booked it based on the area I was looking to stay at and trip advisor reviews. I cannot find a single fault with this hotel hence have given it five stars. There was always plenty of free bottled water in the room which is a real benefit if you are a foreigner. The service was exceptional all the way from the managers to front desk staff to the kitchen staff to the car driver Bhim Singh to the security gate guard. They have an excellent restaurant we tried all meals and they cater to your personal tastes and likes which is rare.... More

    I don't do too many reviews but I wanted to take the time to really appreciate Nelson and Arun who kept me looking forward to going to breakfast. Both employees were extremely pleasant and very attentive to my needs before I could ever ask for anything they were at my table asking me if I was okay and if anything else was needed. I really came to appreciate them more, when both of them were off one day and a completely different staff was there the atmosphere and the service was totally different. The Oriental Residency on P. D. Hinduja Marg is just 0.5 km from the Khar Railway Station. It is located 7 km from the famed Juhu Beach and offers Wi-Fi Internet connectivity. The 44 rooms are divided into three categories, which are Classic Room, Premium Room and Luxury Room. Each room has amenities like an electronic safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board on request, mini-bar, LCD television and tea/coffee maker.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 02 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
