    The rooftop Resturant at the top of the O Hotel

    I’ve been there a number of times over the years. This time may have convinced me to not return. A friend and I ordered a bottle of wine from the drink menu. It was not a cheap wine. We saw the price was 3500 rupees and accepted. After an hour we ordered one more bottle. When the bill came each bottle was 1000 more rupees at base price. We said no, that’s not what we saw in the menu, when we first ordered. So they brought a menu over and sure enough it said the price the bill reflected, not the original price we saw. Money was not the issue, the fact that all of a sudden each bottle was 1000 more was. Their explanation was that we were given an old drink menu and they were sorry but the price was the higher one in the computer billing system. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was sorry for the mistake but would not reduce the price to the one we originally saw and agreed to. After expressing my discontent a few times he said he would bring ya a few cocktails to make up the difference. I wasn’t interested in the additional drinks, I just wanted to pay the price we saw in the original menu. That never happened though and I have to say I was disappointed in the whole ordeal. The others aspect is that the rooftop was really dirty that night with very few choices for seating.     Great ambiance and cozy room

    We were at O hotel for a short duration, the room was very cozy and comfortable. Starting from folks at reception to the dining staff been very courteous and helpful. It was our anniversary and they have decorated the room that’s nostalgic. I would especially like to thank Shiv Jadhav who ensured that everything fits rightly at the right spot and made our stay worth remembering forever, in fact everyone including him been very proactive in ensuring we enjoy our stay.     Disgusting cleanliness and a lack of care

    I ended up booking this hotel very late in the evening as I was due to go back to Mumbai but decided to stay in Pune. The hotel was supposed to be 5 stars and the price was reasonable. After checking in I was asleep very quickly, but took a coke from the mini fridge and drank it before doing so, unfortunately I only had the 'mood' lighting on. The next day, I looked into the mini fridge to fill out the mini bar slip and notice the disgusting state of the fridge and products. I looked at the can I drank and also it was covered in mold and dirt. I immediately asked for a manager to come to the room but none was available - which in itself is a ridiculous thing for a 5 star hotel to not have a duty manager. Eventually a receptionist came up and said he would send housekeeping immediately, which wasn't really the point at that moment. So a young man turned up and with a cloth wiped down the fridge and contents, after he left I was amazed to see that they were in the same condition and that he was seemingly happy with that. I emptied the minibar and dumped in reception and told them that these products should be binned. Nobody should be offered a wiped down mouldy can of soda. I took a picture after the cleaning, which I will attach. I spoke to the person in charge who was a young man and he took notes, he told me that the manager would get in touch with me, which never happened. It's like the problem never happened. I'm absolutely appalled that this place is running so poorly and that frankly they don't care about their customers. The quickest service I received was when they took payment on the way out. This whole situation could have been very different if it was handled correctly, but the lack of care and passion is for me, unforgivable.     I stayed here last week for four nights whilst I was working in Pune. Positives - The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were a good size with large ensuite with both bath and shower. A large selection of room service options as well as a restaurant with buffet in the evening downstairs A large pool area on level nine, with a male sauna and steam room, you need to let the staff know 30 minutes before you use either which wasn’t an issue. Negatives - The Wi-Fi for the hotel was the worst I’ve ever experienced whilst in India, they have the option to pay for faster Wi-Fi but as I was paying for the room and food there I thought should have at least decent Wi-Fi included which it certainly didn’t. The gym is tiny, any more than four people and you’re going to end up sitting on someone’s lap. They do have a decent selection of dumbbells going up to 35 kg, several machines and a cable machine which was a nice surprise. But the gym room is significantly dated, and needs a complete overhaul. ... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 02 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
