    Rude front office staff

    This hotel is decent enough, nothing great, just average and worth the price if you pay in the region of Rs 2000-2200. However, their front office staff is rude!! They don't know how to treat a customer. At the time of check-in we were told that the buffet breakfast was complimentary, but at check-out they started demanding money for the breakfast. The lady at the reception gave excuses like the person who did the check-in was a trainee / a new person, he wrongly told us that breakfast was complimentary etc etc. If your employee makes a mistake, it is not my responsibility to bear the cost of it. You should accept the mistake graciously and ensure that the customer does not suffer. That is how you build customer loyalty, not by arguing with the customer. On top of that, she was so rude and condescending as if she was obliging us by giving us a few complimentary breakfasts. The hotel needs to urgently train their front office staff in the etiquette of the hospitality business.... More

    Hi If u stay in this hotel mind it they will not provide and medical aid or facility to any one. I am regular in this hotel from last 3 years yesterday I am having backache so I want moov spary because I am not able to walk and stand but at reception Mr Vignesh told we are help u in this we are not able to provide you moov spray I said I will pay for it but totally decline by that fellow. Very bad experience this time. If somebody having emergency they will not take you to hospital. Think over it.... More

    I have visited this hotel on many occasions and had never a problem! But my visit this August 18 turned out to be a disaster! Having booked for 4 days through GoIbibo(Another worst service provider), I paid the money in full, only to realize that the Hotel doesn't even provide a bottle of water as a courtesy! Just 1 bottle of water for 3 people, 1 soap and shampoo, condemned rooms because of the discount, poor breakfast options and a very rude Front Office staff! Nobody to help carry the luggage and is heart wrenching to see elderly people struggling to carry the luggage! This hotel has lost it's charm..unless they decide to improve, will remain to be in the sub standard level..no hotels in the vicinity, difficult to locate the hotel if one is new to yet another city of unfriendly people!...     We stayed there for 4 nights. Two families all in all 8 of us. Main aim of staying in Chennai was shopping. Clean rooms and toilets. Breakfast was good. It was buffet breakfast. Options for making special orders like Dosa, masala dosa and omelettes. The staff were very helpful. Once our pre-arranged van to go Thirupathy failed to show up one morning. The reception staff ( forgotten his name) was extremely helpful to organise an alternative transport within a short period of time in the early hours. Fantastic service. ( Sorry about my belated review! ) A decent place to stay , clean and good value for money. I would highly recommend it and will definitely go back. ... More

    The room is one of the better stays I have in Indian. Room is clean, with good shower pressure and comfy bed. Unlike other 3-star hotel this one actual provide kettle and fridge. But I think the staffs should be trained properly: 1. Upon arrival the receptionist was hesitating to process my check in, and keep questioning when did I book the rooms. In fact I have to show them the paper record that the rooms been fully paid during online booking. I later found out it is because they have given the rooms that I booked to someone else, so they have no choice but to upgrade my booking FOC. Luckily I have the booking details with me. 2. Breakfast service suppose to be 7.30am to 10.30am. But when we get to dining hall by 7.30am nothing was ready, not even coffee or tea. Most of the hotel guests had their programs with early starts so the small little dining area with only 6 tables got filled up within the first 10mins. It was after another 10 mins that the buffet breakfast finally open and ready to serve. Imagine a hall full of hungry people staring at the empty trays & pots.   2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes.   7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
