Awesome place to stay in Manali

Its quite a worthwhile experience to stay at Log Huts, quite well maintained huts with family rooms available. There s a dining room, kitchen area, private garden area with swing and facility of bonfire in the evening. Family really enjoyed and they even have a private garden where you can see Cherry trees etc. Food can be ordered in the room or one can dine in the restaurant, service is quite efficient. Parking facility s available.
They have various options of rooms and with diff meal plans, I was speaking to the manager and he told me that prices are quite reasonable in the off season.

Yo be In Shimla for a month and an extended weekend: we decided to head for Kullu/ Manali knowing fully well that we could never make to Rohtang, Solang, or Gulaba. When the mountains call, one must go. So we went. It was sheer delight driving up and down the hills, seeing some tracts of the hilly terrain aflame with red and yellow Palash or Shimul, intermittently driving past dense foliage of pine and fir, enjoying the mighty Sutlej and views of Beas, the hilly countryside so peaceful and serene. We reached Naggar amidst heavy shower and it was bitterly cold. We stayed at Naggar Castle and it was a sheer experience being there. The mighty Himalayas towered over us, the Beas running Brie and a sleepy hamlet lit up gorgeously. Early morning it was surreal waking up to be welcomed by the snow covered Himalayas. A radiant day, cold breeze, white snow, the wood and stone architecture it was a beautiful morning accompanied by a very delicious breakfast. Naggar offers one of the best Himachali cuisine- Himachali Paulao and a chicken curry makes the spooky experience complete. The castle does appear spooky by night time. I am not detailing the places of interest around because the webbsbounds inthose description. I was overwhelmed by natural beauty and calmness of the place. There was snow in Naggar but not as much as Manali. Manali was under thick carpet of snow and we waded through snow to reach our log hut. It was an experience we heard or saw so much but never had! I was ecstatic. And the surroundings. The images will give an indication. And trekking up to the Hidimba Temple in light snowfall was sheer delight. I never regretted that I could not visit Rohtang or Solang. The Hptdc log huts offer the best place for relax and enjoy - soak in the beauty of The mountains and enjoy the impeccable hospitality of the people

Excellent log huts build at an wonderful location in Manali which really takes care of the rest of pains it takes you to reach the location. Couldn't be a better place to put up in whole of Manali. Homely food with beautiful gardens around the huts. It is real delight to be here and wake up right next to river flowing below the huts.
