    I visit this place very frequently and have always been impressed. Especially the service in the restaurants has been phenomenal and the food is amazing. Everything from Indian delicacies to Cakes and Desserts have been impressive. Special mention for Chef Shobit and Restaurant Manager Satish that go out of their way to accommodate all your requests.     Had a memorable one week in Chennai while on an official trip. What was amazing is the service standardization that the hotel offered. People from front desk to room service were all full of energy carrying broad beautiful smiles. I have my special complements to the standout names Mr. Bhaskaran, Mr. Shyam, Mr. Sourav from the Buzz restaurant, Mr. Balaji, the gym trainer and Mr. Perazhagan from the swirl were all ready to go that extra mile to tailor the service for me.     I was there for just a night while traveling on business to Chennai - we checked in late since we had hit the workplace directly from the airport and only came here after we were done for the day. Checkin was super smooth and fast and the room was nice. It was a pool view room but the pool is very small so nothing much to write home about there. Room was well appointed - with all the right supplies - I loved the almonds from the mini bar. Service was very prompt. Had asked for honey, water and olive oil on three different occasions and all of them were delivered within 10 minutes. Dinner at Sian was nice, I would say a top 20% Indo-Chinese restaurant. breakfast buffet at the Buzz was too huge - we had a tough time figuring out what to eat.     Excellent stay, with amazing Tajness hospitality

    I stayed at the hotel during a business trip to Chennai along with my wife and daughter. The services at the hotel are an absolute bliss. Very professional and courteous staff. Breakfast is scrumptious, with lot of varieties and freshly cooked with live counters. They will always go the extra mile to pamper their guests. Some notable people at the hotel: 1. Sikcha Basur: She is a very gentle girl and will do everything to make sure you enjoy your food. She is very nice with the kids and very caring. Ask for her at the breakfast table. The best person we met at the hotel. :) 2. Bikram: A slim guy at the reception, very polite and had a pleasant smile. 3. Vaishnavi Babu: She is also the manager at the front desk. Very helpful and responsive. 4. Indranil Ray: The GM at the hotel will ensure that your stay at the hotel is pleasant and worth remembering. He also sent a complimentary cake for my daughter in my room. I can never forget that. Anyone reading this make sure you stay here whenever you are in Chennai and enjoy awesome hospitality.     Taj MOTEL, not Hotel..smelly and mouldy!

    ROSE (positive): amazing service staff, polite, smiling and friendly. Amazing real filter coffee...still missing it! THORN (Negative): Stink! The lobby entrance smells of Jasmine and the floors above of mould. The rooms floors perspire, the bathroom ceilings have black mould (attractive to respiratory tract infections and there is an awful cloying smell in the room that I had to address by buying 1 meter of Jasmine as room freshener! Staff uniforms desperately need to be renewed. I think the management/ franchise owner of this hotel needs to get their act together...I will not return unless I have to BUDS (Potential): I think the management/ franchise owner of this hotel needs to get their act together ASAP, there are lots of improvements that can be done if they CARE...I will not return unless I have to!...   4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. Booking Policies

  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
