    Worth every penny.

    Liked the visit. The food isn't that great but not very bad either. Located at a beautiful place, very quiet, with a few cottages around. Hence, peaceful. The number of staff is less. But all very polite and dedicated. Worth every penny we spent. Not too fancy but not too public either. The cottages had everything. There was always hot water. We had a relaxing time. Palolem was a kilometer away. The hotel helped us rent scooty. Unless you want to specifically stay on the beach, this was a good place.... More

    Trip to South Goa, stay down the drain

    We were 5 couple's visiting South Goa and hence, had booked cottages accordingly. No good points hence jotting down the negative ones below. Hope the management takes it in right spirit. 1). Reception person needs to be more interactive and active. Everyone at the recerption seems to be lost when asked something 2). The most important thing a body needs is a good food which unfortunately is absolete PATHETIC out here. To start with, Breakfast has limited options which are all cold served by the time the guests have it, the coffee or tea served too is cold, milk for the kids is cold, water served is dirty, ice cubes served has dirt particles which spreads when put in water ( our kids had that water) 3). The staff is very limited and has no clue when people come in large numbers. They are lost 99.99% of time and are only alert or active when they ask us for the room numbers at the breakfast table; just to ensure we don't sway away 4). Everyday our lunch and dinner were delayed for more than 40 mins due to which our kids had to go hungry or we had to feed them outside in some other hotels 5). Rooms only looked good from outside whereas conjusted from inside. This was in spite of we telling the agent the resort had appointed asking to book bigger rooms for us. Towels weere dirty, floor mats was only available in bathroom, which again was dirty and nothing apart from that, room cleaning was not done for two days in spite of giving the keys at the reception 6). Swimming pool was full of insects and mosquitoes and other garbage and was never cleaned up even before our check in or after check in. Even when we were in the pool the staff should have cleaned it up after seeing us, but that did not happen. The only time when it was cleaned was when some Scuba Diving instructor and a student were at the resort for practice session. This is absolutely not done as we have paid a whopping 4000+ INR as per day charge. AN ABSOLUTE NOT RECOMMENDED RESORT FROM MY SIDE TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS REVIEW.     I stayed for 2 days in this property of wooden cottages, which is just located at base of a hill of sahyadyri . I stayed at Suite which is only 1, has a sofa n table. Buffet Breakfast is satisfactory n staff are limited but helpful. Had a pleasant stay as it is located near to Palolem beach which is a calm and clean beach.     Quite and Serene place for stay.

    Stayed here for couple of nights. Room is designed in a small villa-cottage sort of theme. Interiors of room is nicely designed with wooden work, this gives beautiful ambience to room. Bath and toilet fittings are good but not very modern. Swimming pool is okay as well with scope for bottom patch cleanups as there were some parts of bottom broken tiles which can cause some minor injuries. One can also reach to this place by public bus from Canacona bus station and Agonda as well. Night time take care from vehicles while walking on the outside main road when venturing out to beach or dinner. Overall well maintained property. I am 3.5 for this actually. However there are few short falls as well, which management should look into, given the slab of pricing. 1. Breakfast ( complimentary as well ) is served by giving explicit orders. This is fine. However basic items like butter, jam, water should be placed on the table by default, this allows one to have free flowing breakfast instead of asking for minor things to lone waiter ( which will take time, since he is the only person ). 2. Breakfast is slightly limited in variations. For example, it should not be two fruits versus one juice and one fruit kind of options. Fruit juice is norm and should be available in breakfast all the time. 3. Floor towel in bathroom was very muddy and dirty ( at the time of check in itself ) and was NOT changed over the two day stay. 4. There was just one single soap for two occupants. After couple of reminder it was changed after a day. 5. Typically 2 water bottles of 1L are placed each day in hotels like this, however here it was 2 small water bottles of 500ml or so. When we required extra water in the night it was explicit charged at 44 INR a piece. It is okay to charge, however after minimum 1L limit is exhausted. 6. AC was without the fan panel.... More

    Average Hotel, lot of room for Improvement

    Our family stayed there for a night on 18th August. I have some points to list, which I hope will be taken in the right spirit by the Hotel Management, in order to improve the place. The pool timings said 7.30 am to 8.00 pm, but the cleaning was being done at 10.00 am, we had to wait to get into the pool. ideally the pool should be cleaned well before the opening time so that guests are not inconvenienced. In any case, the pool water was absolutely dirty, the bottom of the pool could not be seen, & while swimming we could feel all kinds of thing on our feet, we even found worms/insects/weeds. On the website, the CheckIn/Check-Out time is mentioned as 12.00 noon/ 11.00 am respectively, but at the reception, we were told that Checkout is at 10.00 am. It doesnt make sense because breakfast timings are 8.30 am to 10.30 am, but Checkout is at 10.00 am? I think this needs to be changed. I feel the Breakfast timings need to be advanced, to start at 8.30 am is bit late. I am sure its with many guest, who wake up at their usual times, and are hungry, but have to wait until 8.30. and ideally, it should be a buffet system. The bed lined was very moist, The A/C fan shutters were removed, the A/C was very dusty. The bathroom was not upto the mark, very unclean.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 02 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
