    The resort is little bit far from palolem beach. We have booked a suite room which is very spacious and well maintained. But the main problem is their service is very poor. They took more than 2 hours to make a very simple lunch like 8 rotis,1 plate mushroom masala and 2 plates of prawn curry. Even the quantity is very less.... More

    Liked the visit. The food isn't that great but not very bad either. Located at a beautiful place, very quiet, with a few cottages around. Hence, peaceful. The number of staff is less. But all very polite and dedicated. Worth every penny we spent. Not too fancy but not too public either. The cottages had everything. There was always hot water. We had a relaxing time. Palolem was a kilometer away. The hotel helped us rent scooty. Unless you want to specifically stay on the beach, this was a good place.... More

    Trip to South Goa, stay down the drain

    We were 5 couple's visiting South Goa and hence, had booked cottages accordingly. No good points hence jotting down the negative ones below. Hope the management takes it in right spirit. 1). Reception person needs to be more interactive and active. Everyone at the recerption seems to be lost when asked something 2). The most important thing a body needs is a good food which unfortunately is absolete PATHETIC out here. To start with, Breakfast has limited options which are all cold served by the time the guests have it, the coffee or tea served too is cold, milk for the kids is cold, water served is dirty, ice cubes served has dirt particles which spreads when put in water ( our kids had that water) 3). The staff is very limited and has no clue when people come in large numbers. They are lost 99.99% of time and are only alert or active when they ask us for the room numbers at the breakfast table; just to ensure we don't sway away 4). Everyday our lunch and dinner were delayed for more than 40 mins due to which our kids had to go hungry or we had to feed them outside in some other hotels 5). Rooms only looked good from outside whereas conjusted from inside. This was in spite of we telling the agent the resort had appointed asking to book bigger rooms for us. Towels weere dirty, floor mats was only available in bathroom, which again was dirty and nothing apart from that, room cleaning was not done for two days in spite of giving the keys at the reception 6). Swimming pool was full of insects and mosquitoes and other garbage and was never cleaned up even before our check in or after check in. Even when we were in the pool the staff should have cleaned it up after seeing us, but that did not happen. The only time when it was cleaned was when some Scuba Diving instructor and a student were at the resort for practice session. This is absolutely not done as we have paid a whopping 4000+ INR as per day charge. AN ABSOLUTE NOT RECOMMENDED RESORT FROM MY SIDE TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS REVIEW. PLS CHECK FOR SOME OTHER GOOD OPTIONS AROUND.... More

    I stayed for 2 days in this property of wooden cottages, which is just located at base of a hill of sahyadyri . I stayed at Suite which is only 1, has a sofa n table. Buffet Breakfast is satisfactory n staff are limited but helpful. Had a pleasant stay as it is located near to Palolem beach which is a calm and clean beach. Lots of shacks are situated at beach side for food, relaxation n fun. ... More

The Fern Gardenia Resort is a 4 star resort in Goa that features a swimming pool with a swim-up bar. This property is located 2 Km from Canacona Railway Station and Palolem Beach. The resort consists of 18 rooms and suites. Each room include amenities like air-conditioning, television, tea/coffee maker, in-room dining facilities, digital safe, newspaper and an attached bathroom with toiletries. Note -The swimming pool is now operational for The Fern Gardenia Resort, Goa.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 10 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
