    This is the worst place to stay! Property is absolutely badly maintained! There is massive water problem where water is turned off every other half hour even for toilet! And when started colour of the water is brown! AC is filled with dust! Filters never cleaned! There is no proper food at this place, cook doesn’t know to make most of the things on menu! I would NEVER stay at this place and would tell friends as well! Worst decision of my life! ... More

    Very disappointed with our stay here. The rooms were ok when you consider every other accommodation in the area is similar...it was secure, that's the only positive! Terrible shower, poor pool area, very run down. Nice staff. I wouldn't recommend here.... More

    We stayed at the stark gardenia (previously called fern gardenia) for 9 nights, which was about 4 nights too long! The huts were average, they have everything that you need; a comfortable bed, warm shower inc cctv set up outside that was not wired in... The setting is pretty, the plants, statues and eagles circling above. Whilst we made good use of the deserted pool everyday, the pool is in desperate need of a clean and of re-tiling as there is mould growing around the outside of the pool, missing and chipped tiles. The few sun beds are cracked and sun damaged. We had two free drop offs to the beach, but was initially told that they did not do the free drop offs. It is only 100 rupees in a rickshaw and the staff will call one for you. It’s five minutes drive into the village of palolem, or a long walk. Airport collection is possible and 2200 rupees. The staff were generally friendly and tried. There are obviously some management issues around payment, kitchen stocks and supplies, for example there was no butter for the second half of our stay; Breakfast was generally poor and we were asked to pay half in advance. The bar was only stocked with cans of Budweiser- not an Indian beer in sight! Overall we wouldn’t come back to stay here and would recommend staying in agonda instead! ... More

    Fern Gardenia has a well maintained property, clean and neat rooms and a good pool for some recreation. It is located at a 5 minute drive from Palolem beach (the resort offers drops to the beach). The only downside is the food, it is below average in terms of choice and preparation, would suggest meals at the beach instead as Palolem beach has some really good food places (veg and non veg).... The Fern Gardenia Resort is a 4 star resort in Goa that features a swimming pool with a swim-up bar. This property is located 2 Km from Canacona Railway Station and Palolem Beach. The resort consists of 18 rooms and suites. Each room include amenities like air-conditioning, television, tea/coffee maker, in-room dining facilities, digital safe, newspaper and an attached bathroom with toiletries. Note -The swimming pool is now operational for The Fern Gardenia Resort, Goa.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 10 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
