    I traveled to Munnar with friends a couple of weeks after the floods wreaked havoc in Kerala. We had read a few reviews about some rooms having an excellent view of the mountains while everything else being about the room being poor and we experiences what we read. While the view from our rooms was truly breath taking, the rooms were not clean. The bathrooms especially were in a very bad state. Considering the fact that we were the only guests there at that time, the service too was shabby at best. The only saving grace was the manager himself at the hotel. Don't remember his name but he prepared dinner himself since most of the staff was on leave due to the floods and it was delicious. To sum it up, if you're looking for budget friendly accommodation in Munnar, this is a good choice but there's nothing much to write home about.... More

    Good to be at this place.. Staffs were nice enjoyed the stay to the core...The balcony view was exceptionally beautiful... love this place... Breakfast was competitively good. Safe n sound Recomented for tourists and travellers..... More

    They said it is renovated hotel, but we found the Bathroom leaking & the power sockets not working. The housekeeping has to improve much.Had to wait half an hour to check -in, the receptionist is not always available to pick your call. If you try to ring management won't even pick. The Valley view rooms are bit okay with great views. ... More

    We had booked The edge Munnar via Yatra.com and also confirmed the booking directly calling to hotel .On the way to Munnar we have reached hotel staffs for so many times for route map but when we reached hotel they told no rooms are available and after request they directed us to an another non famous and un secured hotel which is too far from the Edge. Shocking thing is I was the only guest in that 12 rooms hotel and in the night two more families dumped to that hotel with same experience .From that hotel we came to know that this has been experience by so many tourists .We gave a police complaint against this hotel .So please avoid booking on this hotel ....     Very terrible, very cheap & Mr Ranjit has cheated, don't book this hotel ever.

    We had book this hotel through Mr Ranjit, first things we have notice when we had reach to the hotel, we had book hotel by the name of BANANA BOAT & we have seen The Edge. We completely shock. We have more than 14 guest.secondary the Sheaf has no manners to talk, we had keep no of beers in there kitchen but worst part each day they steal our beer & when we asked about this no one taking the responsibility. You can now able to understand how cheap this hotel & staff. Service was very poor, staff is arrogant & Mr Ranjit don't trust on this man. We completely lost our prestige in front of our guest.... This Munnar hotel has 22 furnished rooms spread across 4 floors. Some of the in-room amenities include reading lamps, bottled drinking water, television, wake-up calls, in-room safe and adjustable windows.   1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance

Booking Policies

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
