Caution - Pathetic customer service - stay away

I have stayed in hotels all across india and the world but this Is one of my worst experiences.
We had booked 3 rooms in advance and then booked an additional room with extra beds on arrival and even those paid on first day in advance , but we were not provided with the extra beds till 12:45 AM in the night/ early morning considering we had a big group with 4 rooms booked. When I confronted the person in reception he said we should have requested earlier, this was ridiculous considering it was already paid for and they did not have any concerns while accepting money for the extra bed. Then I asked him to check, when the payment was made, which left him red faced, we all were tired and frustrated so we cancelled the extra beds and managed with rooms we had .
But no compensation was provided to us or even the money that we paid in advance for the extra beds was not returned.
This was not all, in the morning of checkout all the four rooms had only boiling hot water coming out no matter which faucet you turned on and this was not fixed in time so none of us took shower when we checked out and left un-bathed.
Also the wifi is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms which is outrageous if you want to work and this too is misleading on the hotels site.
Also half of the time you call room service no one picks up on the other side.
Also the hotels was listed to have beach access, but the hotel DID NOT have any beach access, that was a bummer.
I am not returning back to this place and suggest to look for alternative hotels when visiting Puri. Pathetic customer service.
Good Food. Aggravating Experience. Caution!!

Well the hotel was not what the representative talked about. Some misleading information on their part made this a not so pleasant experience.
To start I thank the hotel to arrange a room before its regular check-in time. But that was about it what service means. We were made to believe that the hotel would have a private beach which it did NOT. Neither were we arranged transport from the hotel.
Next the concierge or the staff have no idea what so ever about the working of the city. There was a strike of primary transport system(Auto Rickshaw) the day we arrived at the hotel. Now the strike is something instantaneous (I understand) But the hotel staff had no idea about the extent of that and we got to know only after our outside source informed us. The staff is responsible for any change of Status-Quo within the tourist destination at least after we ask about places to visit.
The room was normal relaxing and quiet. But the resort has facilities of TV (No cable, Just the set). We were on a break and Television is the only thing a person can do in the room. It took the hotel more than 6 hours to check the TV, Set it up, and pay for channels on the connection. Now this may seem unfair but when you are a resort in tourist destination you should either have a good list of channels available for the residents or HD channels if you can afford an HDMI connection. We had to change 15 channels and ask for the available channels to see if they even delivered some (i.e they were Hindi movies, and News). Now that is frustrating when all you plan to do in a resort is relax in the room ( Still the day of strike).
THERE WERE ELECTRICITY PROBLEMS!!! Yes the Air conditioner went of every night when the light was shut (Multiple times for some time of the day) and didn't reboot when lights came on. Man is it frustrating to wake up in the middle of the night to turn on the A\C ( twice :-[ ).
Ancillary services were below par too. Asking for a charge on dental kit, it gets no further. Food was quite good. In fact the breakfast service was Awesome. Overall the experience was not good and personally would avoid this resort.

Good infrastructure and reasonably good rooms. Located in the beach and the beach us accessible from the resort.
Good was good and the service by the staff was also good.
The biggest issue is the unavailability of data network eventhough WiFi is available in the lobby.

Worst behavior i ever seen. Specially by Jhili. She is very rude and behave like abnormal. Kindly send her for medical treatment. Over all stay is good. We enjoy sea beach, jagannath temple and other places also.

I am from delhi and we came to puri for the first time. We booked this hotel online. After reaching this hotel, all our apprehension were gone. Front office staff is excellent. In short in my last two days stay, i found this hotel excellent. I just enquired about the possibility of having dinner at pool side, and everything was arranged by hotel manager. It was like once in a lifetime experience. I suggest if anyone comes to puri, must stay at this hotel only.
