    Good Hotel with good location

    The location is good, food is also good.To reach mal road you have to walk for 700 -800mtr which is not too difficult.No need to take cab to reach the lift it will be waste of money.Rooms are good, bathrooms are clean as well.Overall good worth for money.     The rooms are ok but the services are poor, staff's behaviour was also poor, we waited for more than half n hour for order of dalmakhni nd chicken biryani which were without any taste and flavor. Breakfast buffet is also not good. Infact one should go to mall road there u will find many good dhabas which give excellent paranthas, I think we went to some Vijay parantha or sthg. ND the paranthas were really delicious. One more thing we asked the manager why our bathroom is not having hot water ND the pressure was very low. He said water comes 4 hour in morning nd 4 hours in evening. Wat kinda reply was that.we were in a hotel not some govt colony .So overall the experience was not good. If they price their hotel for 2000/- then it's ok coz that's what it's worth is.... More

    On our first ever trip to Shimla, we stayed at this property. It is undoubtedly one of the best properties in Shimla. The rooms are big and spacious, with a king bed all amenities provided, they are centrally heated and a heater is provided as well. Hot Water is available from 7-11 in the morning and evening. The staff is extremely courteous, efficient, helpful, fast, and well mannered. The location is just 1 km from the Mall (for those who have issues with walking) they have a shuttle service to the city lift. They also have free parking available. The breakfast options are okay, and can be improved a bit. Overall Loved the visit and Cedar Grand is highly recommended.... More

    Not bad rooms. Patchy wifi. Traffic noise and corridor noise.

    We stayed for 3 nights. The room we got was fairly comfortable and good views. However, it faced a busy street. So police blowing whistles and traffic noise was a bit unfortunate. Also, the hotel corridors were noisy. Its almost all indian guests and they spent alot of the evenings shouting, loudly talking on the phone, or playing music. The wifi was patchy and unusable alot of the time. Not a bad option, but not a peaceful stay. ... More

    We stayed in this hotel for two nights, It is a neat and clean hotel, The breakfast was as per the order in the first day and the second day buffet breakfast we got. The problems we faced is no wifi was avilable in the room and no hot water in the toilet before 7 AM and parking also a problem.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
