    Stayed there for couple of nights in December, 2017. The location of the hotel is good (close to old bus stand, taxi stand, railway station) and rooms have nice valley view. The mall road is at 1.5 km walking distance and takes around 15 mins. Its a nice, comfortable 3/4 star hotel to stay with family. The staff is okish (may not be very cordial, when compared with other hotels in India).... More

    Stayed here for two nights with family... Everything is superb... Rooms are clean.. Location is very good.. Very near to mall Road... 1.5 kms frm the last time lift to mall... Friendly staff... Yummy food n buffet...one of the best hotel in this price category... Restaurant on fifth floor along with bar... It's one of the best.... Super recommended.. ... More

    I stayed here from 26th to 28 oct . All the rooms of this hotel are facing the valley giving beautiful view from the window. Hotel is near to mall road ( approx 10 min uphill walk to the mall road ) . Rooms were clean on arrival. Hot water is available till 12.00 PM. Since it is located on the carter road , I felt little annoyed by the sound of the vehicles passing on the road. Other than this , my stay at the hotel was pleasant.... More

    Extremely rude and arrogant manager

    We had booked Cedar for 2 nights, but unfortunately just 3 days before our scheduled stay we had to cancel our trip as my mother had a minor accident and doctor suggested a surgery. So my wife called Mr. Anupam (manager) and requested him to cancel/postpone our stay explaining our situation. He told us that he can’t oblige as it is against hotel policy. We called him again in few minutes hoping that he would understand our situation and asked if he could atleast cancel one night stay but this time he got irritated and responded in a very rude manner (remember this guy is in hospitality industry). And then suddenly in an inappropriate manner, he asks my wife if she works somewhere, as that was his way of enquiring if she understands how private organisations work. My wife, realizing Mr. Anupam’s inability to empathise and unwillingness to help, asked him if she could speak to someone higher in the management, to which he responded arrogantly by saying that he is the authority there and if management went about addressing guests’ issues then there was no need to hire him. He made our situation even worse with his attitude.... More

Hotel Check-in Time is 02 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
