    OYO Rooms Paharganj 54 is a total scam! In the computer language (I’m a former IT administrator) we call it an “alias”: looks like a file, has an icon, but then when you click it you get automatically forwarded to another file. Let me explain… OYO Rooms Paharganj 54 doesn’t exist! They show you seductive images on Tripadvisor and on the bookings apps (like Cleartrip) and then, when you book it, you get forwarded to another hotel that OYO Rooms chooses for you. OYO Rooms Paharganj 54 has a 4,5 stars rate on TripAdvisor and looks very beautiful. So, I booked through Cleartrip’s app (which was showing the same images) and then I received an e-mail from OYO Rooms saying “OYO Rooms Paharganj 54” and “Chand Palace” as the address. So, we went to Chand Palace in Delhi, just thinking that the same hotel has different names when offered through OYO Rooms or booked directly. As soon as we arrived, we couldn’t believe our eyes: the reception was completely different than the pictures, old and sad, the room revolting, smelly, with water leaking all over the bathroom floor and a pair of someone’s underpants hung in it. Then they gave us a cheap set of toilet products wrapped in plastic and they said: “this is OYO Rooms’ welcome kit”. We told the staff that was unacceptable as that wasn’t the room we booked and we showed them the images on Cleartrip and Tripadvisor. Do you want to know the reply? “OYO Rooms brought flowers, colorful blankets, pillows, and curtains just to shoot the pictures”. They tried to change us the room for a better one, but they were even more uglier. It was about 6pm and I was so upset. I double checked everything again and found that “Chand Palace” has a 3,5 star rating on TripAdvisor (which I normally consider as a “go somewhere else!”), so I decided to call OYO Rooms. No answer. The next day I found a missed call from after 11pm. They called me back during the day, so I explained what happened, told them that I consider it as a scam and asked for a refund. We talked at the phone for about 20 minutes and they just replied a refund was not possible because I had to call them the same day and I didn’t answer to their 11pm phone call. Can you believe it? Guess what… after a tough day, we were just sleeping!! They said “next time it will be better”. No, no next time for us! Beware of OYO Rooms, they’re scammers! (and after my call the changed the reception pictures on Cleartrip’s app)... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes.   7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
