    Waste of Good Location

    We were a group of 16 people. The booking was done well in advance. Yet the staff at the reception was not aware of our room allocations. A senior lady had to come and take us to the rooms. The hotel is sited well and the rooms are good. Unfortunately, poor service and average food spoil the experience making one feel that it is a place to be kept out of the itinerary. A glass of fresh lime and hot water was ordered during the evening camp fire. Sadly despite repeated reminders, it was not served. One clown offered to squeeze the lime kept for vodka and make the drink suggesting that it made no difference. Only after hue and cry was raised and the manager on duty summoned that the simple drink was served. What was shocking is that there was no sense of remorse felt by the culprits though the lady manager did offer some apology. Next day, the staff was more keen to take the room key and switch off appliances while it was still being occupied. Some harsh words were needed to drive some sense into them. On the whole, the place is disgusting except for the good rooms and excellent view. Unfortunately, all that is spoiled by pathetic service and deplorable management.     We visited this utterly disappointing resort for a lunch and before we could even park our car, we were told by the watchman that they don't serve lunch. This came as a surprise because for a resort that claims to have at least 7 families staying in the resort at the time. Then came the cook, Parvesh who was not even aware that starters are served as part of lunch. He flatly told us that we could only order some Chinese snack and one Dal because there's nothing else that they could cook at the time. It is shocking that the owners have kept such rude staff at the property who seem to know absolutely nothing about hospitality. Not just this, there is no manager to attend to customers at the resort. Add to this, horrible phone network which means that you can't even speak to anybody to report this. If you wish to travel really far and be thoroughly disappointed, then this is the place for you. If you have traveled all the way from the city to enjoy a good meal alongwith good views, then there are many small hotels in the vicinity. ... More

    Stayed in the older building. Room is average. The geyser gives good hot water. Staff not geared to handle groups. We were 18 cars and they could come to most of ours expectation. The evening snacks were average tasting, veg being better than non veg. Breakfast was so so and dinner was very average. Usually small hill station resorts have real good chefs, this seriously need one! Left early morning - from old building to car park it was dark, you need your torches or use your mobile LED light. No staff to check you out early morning. Just left the keys at the reception table. Staff do not do what is asked from them. They will not act upon your request. To summarise - go with no expectation and you will be OK I guess.... More

At 10,000 ft, this picturesque resort is set in the lap of nature, offering a splendid view of the Hatu hill in the front, crowned with a rich forest cover. The resort is situated 64 km ahead of Shimla, a ninety minutes drive on National Highway 22. There are deluxe rooms and suites with views of the woodlands of Hatu and the mighty snow-capped ranges of Himalayas. Continental, Mughlai, Chinese and local delicacies are served at the Club Tethys Restaurant.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 01 PM, Check-out Time is 11 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 01 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
