Mind blowing beauty

I stayed recently along with my family & the resort exceeded our expectations.The view from the room is superb & one can spend hours to relish the same.There are a lot of activities like trampoline,shooting,swings etc.The GM-Mr Santosh was very hospitable & made our stay a memorable one.
Very disappointing and worst staff I have ever come across

We went there in December 1st week. Sterling members always are given the worst possible rooms. The rooms are spread out in the resort and they are supposed to provide battery cars. But on calling the reception, battery car never came. We stayed for 3 days 2 nights. There was no first aid. While going to the restaurant from the room after it is dark, my wife fell on the road (room to restaurant). We asked for first aid and some ice. They were unable to provide that. They dont have basic things in the hotel. Shocked to know that they DO NOT HAVE FIRST AID. There is no proper light outside the buildings that make roaming in the resort very difficult.
A lot of guests had some issues and everyone seemed to be complaining at the reception for some thing or the other. REFRAIN from staying here. This resort is pretty far from main Munnar.

I was there between 12th to 25th December 2017 with my family on vacation. While there is no complaints about the location following are the problems I faced hence the rating
1. Staff never tells what are the things available, happenings at the resort unless you ask for
2. The door key was not working and we were asked to wait till they brought the physical key. Next two nights it was not repaired
2. In one of the doors the head part of the chain latch was broken and we were under tension the nights as the extra protection is gone. Despite reminders no work has happened till we left. Image attached.
3. When I ordered for a coffee in the morning as part of room service, on 15th December I was told no Milk available if black coffee ok.
4. No kettle was available until we asked for one
Better not stay at this place if you expect some decent service. Maybe I was a guest of my friend who had the membership, is that the reason don't know but this is not how you build a great business. My first ever bad rating for any hotel, restaurant, airlines and I feel sad!

If you are one who is unaffected of whether or not there is good food to match the sights, and just care about the “roaming around or taking the view in” part, then this might just be the place for you, because from apart from the below average quality food aspect, the view from their studios and premiere rooms is awesome, and they even have things to keep you entertained on days on which you do not wish to step out of the hotel (activities such as pool table, table tennis, family fun activities etc). All in all, an average experience as i am a foodie, and would have appreciated better food. Also if you are visiting in the near future, please contact the resort to get alternate route maps, as the roads to chinnakanal are under construction and remain closed from 7 to 7.

Have just booked into my room after long trip through difficult road works so was excited when we finally arrived
Greeting from front staff very uninspiring to say the least front area was freezing and they could see we were very cold but they took their time regardless. No smiles, welcomes or conversation
Once we reached our room it was very dirty with mould in the bathroom. I asked for the beds to be seperate which staff did in a lovely timely manner but there was so much dust, lolly wrappers and hair underneath it was quite disgusting
Tried to work the tv, no remote, tried to have a cup of tea no kettle and when one was asked for I was bought a jug of cold water I could continue but it all just been very frustrating
Would not recommend this hotel. As I arrived in the evening I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful grounds mentioned in other reviews
