At first i was a bit uncertain about what it would be like to stay in a cottage. Afterwards i must say that i felt really good. Cottages are simple but in fact they have every basic thing that you really need. Comfort was good. The surrounding gardens are clean, well organized, with chairs and tables and hammocks to relax. They also have a resident female dog that is very friendly, and always came to the entrance to welcome us everytime we were arriving at the gardens.
Staff: They all were very friendly and always ready to satisfy any request one might have while there.

The fact I can get it right away with a lot more fun if I was a great way for me and I don't think that it was not immediately available to comment on the way I am a big fan and a great day to day I have
Simple yet brilliant

Our second visit to temple garden in March 2015 and it was better than even the last one back in 2012. Really like the location which is slightly away from the beach and precisely why its peaceful and somewhat secluded. The accommodation, the ambience and the excellent service made our trip really enjoyable. I am pretty sure that temple garden is going to become our regular go to place for times to come

Temple Garden is a hidden gem in Columb beach near Patnem. Robin will welcome you with his friendly and polite smile. He also speaks a very good English which is not something you should take for granted in India. The huts are basic but quite clean and hot water and wi-fi are always available. There are mosquito nets on the beds but really there are no mosquitos so we decided to take it off. We really enjoyed having breakfast on our porch in front of the hut. Robin can make porridge, toasts, coffee, fruit and other breakfast items if you ask him. The huts are in a shaded area so they are quite cool all day long. The area of Columb can be a little noisy at night because of dogs barking at the monkeys or the trains passing by but we were ok with ear plugs when needed. The garden and the premises are very well kept by the cleaning lady Sunnita but unfortunately just outside the gate there is a dumping area that really would need to be moved or organized but... this is India! Next door there is a very nice Nepalese restaurant and some yoga options, the beach is 5 minutes walk so the location is very convenient. We were supposed to stay a week and we ended up staying more than a month!

We also experienced the uncertain availability of hotwater, but had negotiated an acceptable room rate in person. Good beds, should've slept but for our room being near the gate. Guard dog spends the night fending off streetdog incursions.
