    Munnar is so enchanting that if you have a room with the view of the valley with its endless tea gardens, you are sorted. Nothing else actually matters. And if you have one facing east, the sun-rise here is a spectacle. Make most of it and count your blessings. Tea Castle is roughly 10 km from the town of Munnar. At first, I was sceptic what would it be like! Did I make the right choice? But one look at the view from the window of our room, and I was in wonderland. Flanked by the mountains to the left, the grand vista of rolling hills will take your breath away. The hotel does a decent job at ticking all the right boxes. The rooms are spacious. The décor, however, feels dated and lacks finesse. Not something you would crib about, when you are in a place like Munnar. The staff and their services are to the mark. The restaurant food is decent. The servers are friendly and prompt. Anyway, you can't go out for a meal in the evening for there aren't any food joints nearby and the town is a distance away. As said earlier, the location is the USP. Chilling with a hot cuppa, by the huge windows as you take in the grandeur of Munnar, makes for an unforgettable experience.... More

    Our booking was through MMT, and we checked in by around eve 6 pm..... We received a warm welcome and were served with welcome drink which they said was Cinnamon tea..(which was a refreshing one) . They provided us a fine room in 8th floor where we could see a fantastic sunrise on the next day morning..... The food we took was good even though it was a bit spicy.... The staff there in the restaurant were very friendly... Room cleanliness is soon good that we feet like our own rooms at home.....they provide a very good laundry service also..... The reception team helped us to get a cab for the local sightseeing, and an off road safari in the rural areas of munnar.... Over all it was a memorable experience staying at this hotel.....we enjoyed all the 3 days which we stayed here.......... More

    Very nice experience during the Hotel Stay. Unexpected view from the Room balcony. The rooms very big enough to get a homely and spacious feeling. Food was Ok. Maybe the menu for lunch could be changed. Breakfast was good but need to ensure it is available till 10am.Very Happy Thanks.... More

    I was so happy when I entered the Tea castle, they made a traditional welcome. That made me unexpected. The staff were good and helpful with warm welcome. The rooms were neat and clean. I was given club room on the 9th floor with a good view of valley and sunrise. The food was so good and tasty and good serving as well. Definitely, I will visit next time. ... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
