    As a overall the hotel was good and the staffs are very helpful. We stayed here 2 nights. Rooms are clean and the room facilities are also good. The location of the hotel is also walking distance to tnagar street market. The hotel food is also very good. But only issue is with some staff at the hotel restaurant. One of them are quite rude and we were also cheated by given old 500 rupees and only realized the next day. When we asked, the staff denied it.... More

    Hi We had a very good stay at Taj Kamar. We are very pleased with the services given during our stay there. It was really very convenient for us for transport n shopping. The room service n dinning was superb. Only one things that made us abiti nconvenient was the WI-FI connection.     I had an assumption of a budget hotel in India before my arrival. My husband n i were hesitated at first to stay there. As it was booked by my cousin, we went along. To my surprise its totally nothing like what i had imagined. Clean room, clean toilet, vry friendly staff. Vry helpful indeed. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk to the shopping centre...Pothys/Kumaran/Saravanan stores. My husband n i loved it vry much n will stay again in future. My only concern is the breakfast which r vry limited. Only 3/4 types of food were served daily. Its the same everyday. Quite boring. Apart frm that i loved it... More

    Check in was fast and welcome drink was provided. Room was very clean. However the water heater was not hot enough. It is located in the heart of the city and close to many famous shops like Pothys, Sri Kumuran etc. Breakfast choices very limited. Overall I enjoyed my stayed there.... More

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
