    Stayed here about 40 days and had a great time, it was during the ramadan month this year, room was comfy not as big i thought but it was comfortable. the hotel had shoe shine in every floor and a nice lift lobby each floor. room service was good and they had a special briyani (cant remember the name now, it was gravy and briyani type , never had it before ). The front office people remembered me for my second stay, esp. Siddhart, never knew the staffs took this much pride in the service they provide. even the doorman Andrew was very kind to me.. free luxury car drop and pick up from office within 5KM i guess. and the bar downstairs was great. Wed and Friday was bollywood night. I even met fair amount of local celebs here.... More

    Mr Sagayaraj Mohan working in the Coffee Shop (restaurant) has been extremely courteous and amiable. He understands the guest requirements and comes to the fullest expectations . A very warm person , he also delights you with some wonderful items from the kitchen. If you are a repeat guest, he recalls the likes and proactively gets you the items even before you think of asking. I short, excellent service, warmth and care by Mr Sagayaraj Mohan.... More

    I have been to Taj Coromandel multiple times and have cumulatively stayed approximately 20 days here. The room and the toilet are a bit on the smaller side, however are really functional. The hotel provides Forest Essential toiletries, which are really good. All the restaurants serve great food especially Golden Dragon and Southern Spice. I have had one of the great meals till date from Golden Dragon, the in-house Chinese restaurant. Kudos to servers Saddam, John, Rafi and Jaishankar. The service was also top notch, as is expected from a Taj property. The towel art was really spectacular. Overall, a great hotel and definitely one of the best in Chennai.... More

    Absolutely amazing, possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in

    What can I say but WOW WOW WOW, from the moment I arrived at the hotel I was blown away. A very friendly welcome, amazing foyer, absolutely pristine. Had a refreshing drink of arrival, then went to our room which was on the 4th floor. I am at the point lost for words, everything about the room, the decor, the facilities, cleanliness, size, just everything was more than 5*****. Every possible thing we could have asked for and more was in our room. Down to the array of toiletries, fresh fruit, teas, coffees, just everything. A knock at the door a short while after we arrived to check if everything was ok and if we needed anything, then another in the early evening again to see if anything was needed, fresh towels, more tea, anything. The evening meals were fantastic, huge choice and amazing servers, nothing was too much trouble. I think this hotel offered the best nights sleep I'd had for a while. In the morning, once again, an amazing array of foods, super fresh, piping hot, fantastic. When we returned to the hotel after a days sight seeing we took full advantage of the pool which is amazing. We had loungers in the water at the edge of the pool, fresh towels are brought to you and complementary water. We had samosa and fries as an afternoon snack and they were the best we'd had all our holiday. We wish we'd have been here for more than 2 days, but what a way to finish off our 1st trip to India. I simply cannot praise this hotel and it's staff highly enough. They go above and beyond, just perfection itself.... More

There are three distinctive specialty restaurants, namely Prego, an Italian restaurant; Golden Dragon, the Signature Chinese restaurant & Southern Spice for Southern cuisine. Guests can live-it-up at Chipstead, the Bar & can indulge on the wide variety of single malts & Cognacs.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 02 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.

  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
