An okay stay
on Dec 28, 2016
Hotel in a quiet and very safe area. No restaurants but close to Priya market where you can get something to eat anyway (i love the McDonald's there). AC working. WiFi is free but interrupts in between.. (you can have a nice video convo if you have enough patience and in a good spot) Hot & cold water anytime. Staff are ok and will help in anyway possible. i recommend.
Homely, great location

I usually stay in hotels - budget, 3-star and upwards. Decided to try Oyo because I needed a place in Vasant Vihar where the early morning meeting would be. Its a great location - quiet and tucked away off Poorvi Road and opposite to a few embassies. The rooms are clean. It is homely, home-like. The window AC is effective, there is a switch-on geyser and the bed linen are well starched and the bathroom was sanitised and dry. With complimentary tea, breakfast, I thought great value for money for short, overnight stay. Staff was courteous, all male though.
Decent accommodation in a very quiet, yet well connected area

We had some work in one of the embassies located in Vasant Vihar. And this hotel was within a km from the embassy. The hotel is located in a very quiet lane in Vasant Vihar. Priya complex is about 5 min away by walk. There are good restaurants around.
What I liked
* Near airport (about 5-6 kms).
* Very close to most of the embassies.
* Safe locality.
* Well connected to rest of the city.
* Complimentary in room wifi.
* Very helpful staff.
What could have been better ( though what was offered is well justified at the price)
* no inhouse restaurant, though they offer breakfast, tea round the clock and cook food as per your order.
* No elevator.
You get to stay in one of the most posh localities in New Delhi at very reasonable price. Recommended.
Grand and ludicrous stay in Delhi

The hotel was near to the main road but yet away from the hassle of the city. The front office is well-decorated. Rooms were spacious and amended with all necessities. Room services and the quality of food are also appreciable, even though the options for complimentary breakfast should have been even wider. The bed was cosy and the room had a heater along with A/C and HD-tv. The bathroom was equipped with modern sanitary systems. The lighting of the room was gorgeous.

This was a last minute booking as we had to unexpectedly had to attend a funeral in Delhi. I was a bit concerned as one reviewer had criticised the receptionist.
On arrival, the receptionist was rather formal, but efficient. We were shown to a room on the ground floor that stank of smoke and we refused to enter the room. We were immediately shown to an alternative room which was acceptable. The only criticism I have is that the bathroom is very dated and flushing the toilet was difficult. An elderly person would not be able to use the toilet.
Also, the picture above the bed collapsed, missing my head narrowly!!!!!
The room service was excellent. Despite not having tea/coffee making facilities in the room, this is more than made up by the efficient room staff. The breakfast is also good value, but you need to remember bot order in advance.
The room was very clean and room service attended on request to replace towels etc.
The location is convenient and very quiet. The reception manager turned out to be very friendly and was keen to meet our needs - perhaps as a result of us not accepting the initial room allocation?
Would stay again if in Delhi.
