    Its all a scam for foreigners

    There is a middle aged man who sits in the reception who will try to scam you in any way possible.He tried to charge us extra for 3 people and give us a 2 person room whereas we clearly booked for 3 people.Our room rent for one night was 1330 Rs.He charged me 1430 saying he will return 100 RS the next morning during checkout but next morning to my utter surprise he said he knew nothing about the change.Another piece of advice, NEVER EVER book a taxi to the airport through this hotel. As we had a early morning flight I wanted an honest opinion when should we leave for the airport.The night before he said 5 am should be good.When we called the reception at that time he said he forgot the time and booked the taxi for 5.30 AM.ANOTHER LIE.The night before he confirmed with us twice the taxi rate from the hotel to the airport will be 400 RS.The next morning he said 700 RS would be the charge and also he called the taxi late intentionally. Since there was no Uber at that time and we were already late we had to take the taxi. I would have gone to Delhi police for the scam but sadly we didn't have the time.The hotel is located in a very dirty alley in pahargunj.The alley is also blocked due to construction works going on the road.The bathroom was also very DIRTY.Lastly,please don't make the same mistake we did by looking at the dubious 7.2 rating.Being a Traveller who loves India and stayed in dozens of hotels throughout.This was by far my worst experience.Don't make the mistake I did...     We set a price with them of 800 rp per night in a double room with air conditioning. At 9 in the evening the aircon went off, and stayed off the whole night. I thought it could be an electricity issue, but next day happened the same, it didn't work the whole day. I went to reception to complain, as I was paying a price for an aír conditioned room, so they recognized they turned it off on purpose, and forgot to turned it back on. I asked to have a money refund and they said that if I wasn't happy I could leave the hotel. Apart from that it was quite dirty, the sheets and the floor. Not recommended at all. It's a scam.... More

    Really annoying wellcome at night after a long trip. The room was not ready, it had no blankets (winter time) and the bathroom was dirty... furthermore, the shower was broken and there were cockroaches by the bed... We will never recommend a place like this. We had booked for three nights and we cancel it directly!... More

    Pleasant enough hotel located quite close to some of the main attractions. Cheap and cheerful. Good food via room service (loved the egg curry). TV worked fine. Bed was comfy and room clean. Staff friendly. Very pleased overall.... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
