    there are two hotels in ooty by name SUN PARK. just look twice for the name.the hotel i am reviewing is SUN PARK GRAND it is on the main road. the other one is SUN PARK it is a bit interior . BOTH THE HOTELS ARE ON BOTANICAL GARDEN ROAD. Just decide after going thru trip advisor.i booked this hotel after seeing photos ,review and location of SUN PARK but when i landed in ooty i realized i had not booked for SUN PARK but i have booked for SUN PARK GRAND. still not got it ? the only difference is the word GRAND anyways mistake is mine. the hotel`s location is just on the main road leading to ooty botonical garden.the room though well appointed, neat and clean , is suffocaing with no windows at all, absolutely. you may feel claustrophobic . there are no bell boys or i did not find any. there is no restaurant, no breakfast no lunch no dinner. yes they can serve the food in your room brought from a nearby restaurant which you yourself can go and have. no travel desk. only plus is the hotel is nearest to garden. better you avoid this hotel because in a beautiful hill station that is ooty. any other hotel would be a better choice....     Writing the review as i booked this hotel through yatra.I was told that the hotel is nice but when checked in to hotel i was shocked to see the conjusted rooms and poorly maintained hotel.The most surprising thing is that the hotel is booked by Yatra for me. 1-Some rooms are in basement with no ventilation. 2-There is no A/C or fan though Ooty is a bill station. 3- Rooms are small with no space and no tables to keep your regular stuff. 4-Basement rooms are suffocating. 5-No towels,shampoos or soap put for guests. 6-Not very well maintained.     Very good property,.I stayed in the hotel for 2 days as part of a family trip. The hotel is fine and meets the standards. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive.I found the room very quiet and had no problems sleeping. ,Doesn't had power for 3 hours during first day of stay.... More

    The best part of the hotel is awesome interior designing which makes us to forget the pressure before entering the room. Nice quality beds given. Good room service. We did travel by walk to rose garden and Ooty garden as the hotel is city centric.... More

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
