    Clean apartments, good for groups

    We were 3 guys to stay here and the apartment was really a comfortable stay. The location slightly inside but google can help to reach here. The residential complex is nice and pleasant. We booked a 1BHK which had TV, refrigerator, washing machine, induction and some basic utensils. Though no one will cook here, its good for preparing morning tea (carry your own tea & milk powder and sugar) or heating some stuff if you have carried. We had a pool facing bedroom which was a positive point. Some improvements required - 1. Need to change bath towels on daily basis. 2. I dont know why are some old household items kept on the loft. Please remove them. 3. Need to have more cutlery, dishes and glasses in kitchen. And they need to be of the same shape and style. You cant keep your personal old used mugs and spoons one from each set here. 4. There is no toiletries available. 5. This place also needs a pest controlling since there are small cockroaches on the sofas and kitchen. So, the professionalism is missing.... More

    Lovely gardens

    These apartments are in a complex set in beautiful well maintained gardens with two pools and seem to be owned by different people so each persons experience may vary due to the owner. Additionally, the adjoining apartment maybe owned by a different owner and some seem to be residential. Many of the apartments seem to be let to large groups of young males, mainly Indian, mainly weekend, who make lots of noise all night and seem to excel at slamming doors, shouting to each other, throwing used condoms and rubbish off the apartment balcony! We arranged with the owner to be picked up at the airport, a driver was waiting as requested and took us straight to the appointment. It was not the apartment we requested so 2 days later we were moved to a much better one. The apartment was clean and a lovely welcome pack was complimentary. The bed, like most beds in India, was very hard so the owner kindly provided a new mattress topper which helped greatly. The aircon, shower were great, lovely balcony in the shade, kitchen was adequate as we only made breakfast in it, great fridge freezer. Cleaning service was poor and we often found the cleaning lady in our apartment watching TV but not having done anything! We had to ask for clean towels, some took a week to be changed some took 1 day! On the whole the apartment was good value and we enjoyed our stay but the noise at night spoilt it as did the loads of clothed people in the pool washing their clothes (however the security guard did stop them on a couple of occasions). Our host was good, very helpful and it’s not their fault others let their apartments to large groups of noisy rude people. It was value for money but we would not stay there again. ... More

    Nice Apartment and Good customer Service

    Me and my family initially booked some other hotel through online booking , but after reaching there it was one of our worst nightmares , the property was situated in a very secluded area of Candolim and was having a worse view . We decided to leave the place immediately and almost were in a situation of getting stranded in Goa. With a grace of god we found this property and the host Mr.Gaurav who was wonderful in terms of helping us by giving a nice apartment of 2 BHK at Sun and Sand Service Apartment. Our day was saved and we found the apartment in a good vicinity with pool , gymnasium and the rooms were clean and tidy. The terrace was the amazing and we were given the best of all the amenities like washing machine , Refrigrator , Induction stove and utensils. With my baby of 1 yr old i felt like i am at a second home in Goa. The stay was wonderful. Rooms were tidy , washrooms were clean and hygenic. The society had a 24x7 security. Mr Gaurav was so helpful that he even arranged a transportation for us and also helped in getting a car rental. He was very polite and always ready to give honest suggestions and feedback about our trip. Only one small issue which we found was the electricity problems in that area because of which amenities like Induction stove and Freeze were not functional. Still this apartment was having a inverter for which Fans and lights were functional. Whenever you are travelling with your family do stay at this place. The vicinity is good and you will find lots of western crowd there who dont bother anyone infact they are very friendly and love to interact. This place is good for Families. There is even a grocery store right down the apartment where you can buy your daily breakfast stuff. Newton supermarket is very close by . You will never feel you are in some hotel you will feel like you are in your second home. The maid use to come and clean the apartment and keep it tidy. Full marks for this property... Go for it whenever in Candolim.... More

    Pathetic experience of property by Gaurav [-]/Purple Rooms

    Hi All, Had visited this place in the long weekend of Dussera. However, to be frank, my experience was pathetic here. Lot of promises were made by the host, Gaurav [-]. But none of them were fulfilled as there was no cleaning rooms, all stuffs were defective inside the apartment. When we pointed these things to the host, his responses were very rude and even included slangs. I would suggest not to opt for this property as there are better properties in better locations as compared to this property. No point wasting time and money here.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
