    We visited this place for a day picnic with my 3 year old. The only 2 drawbacks are it does not have a pool and it's a 10 -15 minute walk away from the beach. The rooms seemed fairly new and hence very clean. Each room has a lil seating outside. (Benchs and a table) Quiet property with lots of greenary around. There are also some games near the reception like table tennis , basket ball, foosball table and carrom. Food is simple and decently priced. They have Chinese , Indian and some snacks. So if u are looking for a small , economical break t to far away from the city .... This is a nice place to go to.... More

    Unprofessional attitude

    We arrived in the evening requesting 2 rooms , one was for 2 days and the other till next morning. Tried maling a card payment over 5 times and dint go theu due to their bad phone lines. One room was vacated at 9am and as assured by the manager without any additional charge my friends waited till 11 outside the rooms. However the receptionist "saagar" called and made a ruccus on this. We paid the rooms in cash the previous night and had to pay the additional hours the next morning when the phone lines were working. Sagar was rude and raising his voice. When requested to contact the manager who assured us there will be no inconvenience...he din't call nor gave his no to solve the confusion. Instead he accused us saying the bell boy saw all shifted in one room whereas all of us were out of the room. When the bell boy was questioned he actually confirmed he made no such comments. Despite of this sagar was not apologetic and continued to be rude. As a result we dint want to continue our stay and all 4 checked out. He made no effort to pacify or solve the problem even after we said we will complain.... More

    We booked 1 room from evening to evening and 1 room from evening to morning as our friends had to leave. we could not make full payment as their Credit card machine was not working. In the morning SAAGAR,their front desk manager calls us and tells us to vacate the room. I told him that we were staying till evening but he refused to listen & said that we made less payment & could not stay. I told him that I would pay the remaining amount at check-out time but the rude guy kept talking badly on the phone. STRICT ACTION need to be taken against this guy. He was very rude & kept on arguing with us. I put up a complaint with Mr. Dan Gomes whose name was given on their Bussiness card. Hope appropriate action is taken against this guy. Plz dont go to this place as the management is very bad. Rooms are very average and staff is good.... More

With holy church situated just a kilometer away and Essel World and Water Kingdom about 6 km away, Sun and Shade is an apt stay option from the madding crowd of Mumbai. Designed with a beautiful farm feel, this hotels which is situated in an island in the midst of Mumbai features only 16 rooms that are well-spread across 2 acres of lush green land. The hotel also provides recreational facilities that include table tennis, volleyball etc.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
