    “Cheap and not cheerful HOSTEL equivalent place”

    Good - They try, but are clearly aimed at Indian travellers who have different expectations and standards from a budget accommodation compared to international travellers. The staff is all out to help and do or organise things for you. Good Indian breakfast options Bad - no truth in advertising - all the pictures on their site are of the interiors of the rooms only and none of the exterior, common areas or reception - and that is for a reason. This place is in a great locality but in an obscure bye-lane. The exterior of the "hotel" (should be called hostel) needs serious uplift as do the interiors. Staff is not trained on keeping the place clean and there is dirt and marks everywhere. Dont get fooled - there is NO reception desk, restaurant, or any facilities. just a common dining table on each floor and a kitchen right at the entrance. The room doors are sliding and once locked, still have a big gap so privacy is not a 100% . the bathroom (including toilet and wash basin) are 5x5 feet so you can reach opposite walls with two hands - no shower cubicle or curtain. Not recommended for people who are regular travellers and have seen a lot of places at similar costs - and definitely not suited for female travellers. If the cheapest place in that area is your key factor, this is the place. I got tricked by the shots of the interiors of the room but the rooms look nowhere as good as the photos :(... More

    A well maintained property.One can feel like walking into a HOME instead of a HOTEL.Nice clean rooms , excellent service and personal care from the owner.Moreover I got the chance to interact with other room mates over the dining table.The main advantage is its location as all the important offices in South Delhi can be easily reached from here. Thank you Mr Chakravarty and the team for the memorable experience. I am definitely coming back to Sumitra Inn.... More

    All my official trips to Delhi have been made comfortable & enjoyable by Sumitra Inn. Centrally & conveniently located, it offers excellent value for money coupled with nice, clean & luxurious facilities. Homely & delicious food (and also healthy as special attention is given by Mr Chakravarthy - the owner) add to the comfort quotient. The experience at this is location along with the behaviour of staff & owner is "natural & genuine" and that's what makes it so unique, it is a culture hence each time you go your experience gets further enhanced. I have not stayed here with my family but will definitely recommend the same and will surely do it some time in future. My sincere appreciation and best wishes to the entire Sumitra Inn team for their consistent efforts & hospitality.... More

    We spent ten days in Delhi on a holiday. Our group had a whole floor to them with a seating area and balcony. The rooms were clean and also the bathroom facilities were clean, if not extraordinary luxurious. For breakfast we've got as much as we wanted (if not more), always fresh fruit and one meal, ranging in variety from Western style to Indian. The staff was very helpful and really friendly, although sometimes the communication was a bit difficult, because not all of them spoke English well. Also the prices weren't really transparent, so make sure if you're there on a tight budget to ask for the prices or if you've paid everything. Overall we appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the owner and felt safe in the neighborhood, so that if we go back, we'll probably stay there again.... More

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes.   7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
