Munnar in Kerala : Heaven on earth !!!
on Jan 20, 2020
Hey guys, I had visited Munnar with family. I dint know anything about south places so google helped me. I booked SRS sleeper bus to travel. It was not very costly and more than that very comfortable. We went in Jan month so climate was pretty chill. Not very hot not very cold. Later we reached Munnar , we used local guide to search hotels. We got reasonable hotel in 900 rs for 3 of us. It was homestay converted in hotel. Generally foreigners prefer such flat type house with open bolcony. Anyways we got settled in few ours. Later we hired taxi and started our trip. Tea garden is eye catching. Then we also went spice garden , waterfall and many other place. Local people can guide you. Evening we bought so much spices and dry fruits as it was very cheap. After 2 days trip we came back to Bangalore. We enjoyed lot. Height is 5k ft from ground so while going it was fine but while coming down I was felling like will faint. Because continuous going circle on hills that’s why. Anyways you go and enjoy. have fun..cheers !!!

We were a group of 20 College days Friends & visited Munnar for a short holiday. This Hotel was our first stop in Kerala & we were thrilled to be here. The place gives you views of the Valley which you see only in photographs but by being here , you can relish those beautiful surroundings, lush greens valley, cloud floating around some times you are above clouds, sometimes below & also among the clouds. Food was prepared as per our choice & order. Overall a very satisfying experience

This hotel has a picturesque setting, nestled into the side of the mountain. The restaurant offs a variety of very nice meals and will deliver room service free-of-charge. We took a cooking class also during our stay.
But be aware of construction on their main highway now. We thought we would arrive from our backwater excursion around 2, but work on the highway prevented us entering until 6. We had to leave at 6 am because highway construction begins at 7 am. Not the hotel’s fault, but certainly an issue now. The hotel does have inconsistent WiFi: neither my wife nor I could be at the same time—a point off there.
Beautiful boutique hotel with great food

The hotel is located on the side of a hill with great views. It is a long way from the road and from the town so you really need a car. There are a lot of stairs. There are two beautiful infinity pools. The rooms are beautiful and large with wood floors, lavish bathrooms, and spectacular views from the balcony. We went on a walking tour to some ruins and also did their tea tasting, both activities complimentary. But the highlight was the food. We had dinner in the hotel two nights (nothing else nearby). It was the best food we had in our six weeks of traveling. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and the wait staff were excellent. This is really a world class chef. And the small dining room had a great view.
