    I was torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars. The positives - Staff are friendly The food is tasty Nice shaded restaurant area WiFi quite good They sell filtered water at a reduced rate to save on plastic ⭐️ The negatives The food and drinks are a little more expensive compared to neighbouring restaurants. Music streamed off the internet which buffered a lot so the music stop and starts all of the time which can be really annoying. The German owner Henny can be quite rude to her staff in front of paying customers. The last point is why I decided on 3 stars. Agonda is such a relaxed beach and it’s sad to see staff working extremely long hours and spoken to badly in return. ... More

    Funky beach huts but nothing to write home about

    Stayed here for our first night in Agonda. The huts were pretty funky (although perhaps not as “authentic” as the photos led us to believe). Good location. No hot showers which is reflected in our rating. Food was okay. We didn’t enjoy the espresso. Had WiFi. Staff were friendly. Sorry, I’m afraid there’s not too much to shout about or complain about (except the hot water).... More

    Great position, clean rooms, beautiful food and attentive staff

    Staying here with my partner and 2 kids and we had a great time. The staff arranged pick up from airport which was no hassle and our room was ready when we arrived (clean and tidy with good fitting mozzy net). Food was excellent, we tried a few of the other restaurants on sea front but the cooking at the sonho was great and the view onto beech is comfy and unbeatable. Spoke to a few other people who said there accommodation was poor so feel very lucky to have found this place. The staff also very hard working and lovely to the children. No complaints at all.     It has very basic facility. Wifi rarely works. No hot water, so people with kids pls avoid this place. Small water tanks, water gets over regularly. You need to keep calling. All cooks and staff Nepali and owner German, so they dont treat Indians equal as compared to foreign guest. The manager is little rude. 2 star above is for food only. Rest facility is over rated, but actually not that great.... More

Sonho Do Mar is located at a distance of 1 km from Agonda Beach and 10 km from Canacona Railway Station. This resort in Goa provides free internet access to its guests. Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 01 PM, Check-out Time is 10 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
