    I’ve stayed here for 3 weeks because of a yoga course. After I’ve been here for an while and have seen some other hotels plus my experience I can say for sure this is the best hotel in Mandrem. The rooms are big enough and have al the things you need, a large closet, a good bed, a balcony with garden or pool view, a good working save, a large hot water running bathroom, clean towels everyday and a mini bar with watercooker. The pool and garden are beautiful and well taking care of. Every day clean towels on the sun beds. The restaurant serves a good breakfast although I went sober to yoga class but I ate there on my days of. The staff is so very friendly, polite and helpfull. Especially the lady at the reception. She is the sweetest!!!! Across the lane there’s a taxi service. They’re are also very friendly and have good drivers to bring you everywhere. So, if you want a nice, good hotel, 10 min walking from the beach with a swimming pool, you should definitely visit Sol beso!!!!... More

    ' The Best ' is the only word when I think of Sol Beso . Everything is covered under this one word so one can make out how wonderful my stay was . Each thing is upto the mark . Location is good . It's near to the beach . Food is excellent . Rooms are well decored . Interior as well as exterior is superb . House keeping is good . Room service is prompt . Staff members are efficient . Swimming Pool is the USP of Sol Beso . One can get a good view of pool from the room . ... More

    I visited this hotel in june 2019 with my family. I have found the property to be one of the best in entire goa though best in that area. The location is fantastic as it is very near to beach. The staff is very courteous. The rooms are large and very clean.Food is great.I highly recommend this hotel to all the persons who plan to visit mandrem, arambol beaches.... More

    Great but could easily improve

    I stayed at this hotel for 24 nights in may whilst i was doing my yoga teacher training next door at oceanic yoga. I arrived late at night i was surprised that it was cheaper to book online that when arriving at the hotel. The gentleman on reception was lovely he kindly showed me the room before i booked and the room was very nice. The bed is super comfy the balcony is lovely the location is great 1min walk to a lik shop, 10min walk to mandrem beach 15min taxi to morjim beach and arambol. The presentation of the hotel os beautiful its cosy and it really felt like a home from home, should i return to mandrem i would stay here again. How it could improve: The customer service skills of the staff in the restaurant are the bald guy in particular never smiles and considering how empty the hotel is in may they act as though you are a inconvenience for asking for anything. No manners no please no thank you, apart from anil he was better. The placemats on the restaurant tables are also filthy. They would often get orders wrong or incomplete. They could make more money in the restaurant if instead of watching tv they walked 10meters to the pool and offered drinks or food to guests. The reception: The young lady on the desk has 0 customer service skills i complained my room glass where dirty days in a row and she refused to change them! Only repeating they had been cleaned, the pool filter broke and the water caused skin irritation and rash, she would simply repeat its ok to swim! It definitely wasnt, there was constant banging on the roof for days on end, my friend asked to move and was marched off to another room she could only have the next day even though it was empty! She was just extremely unfriendly compared to her colleagues. The water was off all day one day and when it came back on it was filthy for hours instead of them running the taps in the vacant rooms, no common sense atall. The cleaning team are ok some days they clean and change the bed other days it doesnt even look like they cleaned a thing and just changed the towels, more important the time of the cleaning is way to early between 9-10am, we are on holiday i do not want the doorbell ringing and waking me up every morning, clean between 1-4 when people are out at the beach or pool. The swimming pool: Lovely on the eye but sort out water in the pool, clean the furniture its covered in bird poo, arrange the furniture every day its all over the place messy as hell, make sure towels are constantly there, put a bin for guests to put dirty towels in and a rack for clean towels if you dont have time to replace them. Clean up the area from litter and clothing that gets left behind and add some outside dinning furniture outside the restaurant. Speak with your neighbors ask them not to burn big trash fires of burning plastic outside the doors of the guest bedrooms some nights it choked me and i couldnt breath. Speak with oceanic yoga and see if there is a opportunity to partner with them as they have alot of guest that might prefer more luxury accommodation These little things could make it soooooo much better as its a great place to stay. The wifi was generally good for india, the fridge was cold the tv was nice but only Indian channels.... More

    Lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff. Appropriate for older guests and those with children. Great pool with sunbeds. All rooms overlook the pool and have balconies. Not many mosquitoes either. Mostly Russian clientele. Good , reasonably priced restaurant on site. About 5-10 minutes from beach. Close to lots of shops and other restaurants. ... More
