    1> Rooms are good. 2> Location is far from beach ( around 1.5 KM) and you cant walk . To get local transport is really a challenge. 3> Parking : Though website says free parking but in real only yellow board cars allowed inside and remaining have to find place outside resort. Better check at the timings of booking. 4> Swimming Pool always occupied by foreigner ( full day). If you want to sit near the Pool boy come ans request you to sit on back benches. Even hotel management also not bother to listen. 5> Breakfast : Quality is okay but again all hotel staff is behind pleasing foreigners.... More

    This is my 2nd stay here and my friends first .... although the upgrade is going on and there are some rooms still to be upgraded, the staff and service are second to none and nothing is too much trouble - From Amul in reception to Peter at the bar that looked after my friend when she took a turn early one evening - service like that outweighs anything in my book and for that reason alone I will continue to go back to the Somy... More

    Just returned from my holiday in India goe hotel that I stayed at was so my hotel rooms was lovely it was a superior room.room was clean every day pool side you could not get a subbed towels was put out early every morning even though there was signs saying not to save sun beds so that was a no go for us moving on to staff some of the staff looked so serious never spoke to you only one or two spoke reception was dated an old fashioned in need of a good revamp. There is no point in the hotel having WiFi as it is a waste of time people cannot even use this service because it’s so slow and will not even connect and there charging 100 rupees a day for this which is a robbery as they don’t tell you about how poor the internet is. We made a complaint to the manager regarding his staff urinating against there living quarters I overlooked this as I was room 823 and could see this happening every morning when on my boucany. I found this was appalling and very dirty and the manager told me he would speak to his higher manager but never did get back to me about this and they still proceeded to do the same things. This is no good for British tourists to see not just British but for anyone to see as this is very off putting. Breakfast was the same food everyday omelette boiled eggs toast cereal juices coffee tea pancakes very basic not that great, staff looked very miserable some said hello and a lot didn’t bother been to goa many time and this hotel has very low standards compared to the others in goa. When I checked into this hotel even though it was quiet late around 3 in the morning there was no complimentary drinks or snacks. And going back to room situation you wasn’t even allowed to make a call to home I find this well behind with times and unacceptable very disappointed. Our cleaner was excellent and looked after our room very well another good point about the hotel was that we was on top of everything and shops 24hour shops rental of bikes it had a good mixture of everything. I would not come back unless they changed a lot of things as it was very old fashioned and basic good enough for those who don’t expect to much and had to pay 2500 rupees to keep the room open for 5 hours when we was leaving that’s a day light robbery as the complimentary room was horrible the Curtisy room was absolutely dated nowhere to put your cases how can u leave your suitcases in the reception behind a desk.     Visited the Somy many times & it just gets better, the re-furb rooms are lovely and done to an excellent standard, the reception staff especially Amul is lovely who greets u with a smile always happy to take time to speak to you, the waiters are great boys who work hard Keeping the drinks flowing round the pool, franklin especially, can’t wait to return...   1. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas/ New Year's Eve or other festivals as decided by the hotel. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) needs to be cleared directly at the hotel.|On 25th December and 31st December there is a Compulsory Gala dinner Rs. 3000 per Adult and RS. 1500 per child (6 to 12 Yrs) to be paid 5 days of confirmation of booking @ hotel.||Compulsory Gala Dinner on 25th Dec ( Xmas ) will be Rs 4500/- per person and New Year on 31st Dec ( New Year ) will be Rs 5500/- per person.|A part of the rooms of SoMy Resort will be undergoing renovation work from 16th April 2018 to 30th September 2018. However, the balance part of the rooms, and all hotel facilities, such as the swimming pool and the restaurant/ bar will be fully operational and functional.
Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 02 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.

  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
