    Loud and noisy room.

    I generally do not write reviewable couldn't resist writing one for this hotel. Travelled to Shimla with family and staying in this hotel at the 6th floor. The hotel is nice. Staff is courteous but the rooms are very noisy especially the 6th floor as there is a common sit out, where room guest can sit, on the fifth floor which is right above the 6th floor rooms. There is a big group staying in the hotel and I had to complain twice at 12 in the night to the hotel front desk that they are talking very loud and it is disturbing. Even when a chair is moved or somebody walks fast in the open area one can hear banging sound in the room. I could barely sleep as there was loud noise in the night and the same banging began from 6 am in the morning. Even when somebody closes door in nearby rooms one can hear a loud bang. Overall a decent property but not worth at the cost of good sleep.... More

    The location is good...right on the main road and around 10-15 mins away from the lifts to ridge. The rooms are good with nice view of the valley. The staff is courteous and food is also good. Overall a nice place to stay and spend time with family. Only problem is of limited parking space.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
