Stay at Sujatha Inn
on Dec 6, 2017
We stayed in superior room which is very specious, clean & facing road & a small hill. The superior rooms are on 3rd floor, but lift facility is available. The bed was comfortable.Bathroom is big and having 24 hour hot water facility, which is needed in Munnar. Bathroom floor leveling need to be given attention as water remains.
There is veg restaurant on the ground floor where you can have food. In case you need variety, there are many restaurants within 5-10 minutes walkable distance.
We had a look at deluxe rooms on 2nd floor. They are very small in size. Probably half the size of Superior room & looking both sides-front & back.If you have more than 2 members, prefer Superior room. Service was good.

Decent, clean hotel near centre of Munnar
on May 16, 2017
This hotel has what a budget traveller needs.
*Clean bedroom with big enough comfortable beds (with not much space around the beds but then who cares).
*Open furniture with hooks and hangers to place clothes/luggage. Big mirror in the room too.
*Clean spacious bathroom with WC, wash basin, and a geyser which works on gas; hot water is maintained over long time; we didn't have to wait for water to get hot after previous person's bath; shaving could be done comfortably.
*Lift was available in the hotel.
*Vegetarian restaurant serving good quality Gujarati, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Bombay food is situated next to the reception (run by a different management); for breakfast before 7.45 a.m., there is Saravana Bhavan in the centre of Munnar.
*Hotel is situated at a walking distance of about 15 to 20 minutes from the centre of Munnar; in summer, roads get congested over few kilometres - so staying in such a hotel near the centre of town makes sense.
Very Bad Food and overpriced
on May 1, 2017
Meals is 165 which is non veg and no extra items will be provided. Extra Pappad costed 20. Myself had a single Aloo paratta which doesn't have curd or pickle with it and costed 60 Rupees. Even when we informed to the lady at the counter about it she reacted rudely. We will never visit this place again.
