    The Room was huge & Amazing so can’t fault that, but that’s really where it ends. The staff are aloof and very unhelpful. There is no wifi so be prepared to run your phone data into the ground. Provided our own toilet paper as there wasn't any supplied in our room. Room will only be cleaned if you tell them to. Asked for help at reception to locate a laundry service they just shrugged, no offer of help at all. Beautiful building, unfortunately I would not recommend... More

    Did not meet our expectations

    We had a terrible stay at Silver Sands Hideaway on our last trip to Goa and definitely won't be staying here again. The only positives were the size of the rooms, location and the house cleaning staff. It was all down hill from there, power cuts every 30-40 mins throughout the day in the sweltering heat was just plain horrible. To top it all off, we were stranded in the elevator for around 5 mins during one of these power outages. The generators were of no use, as it would take 5 mins to start up every time. The receptionist needs to be well trained to answer guests. For every question asked to him, the response was "You need to check with the hotel manager" Breakfast buffet was forgettable. We didn't bother going there after our first day. Overall the hotel needs to make a lot of improvements to meet the basic standards of their guests. We stayed in this hotel from 22nd to 24th May 2019.... More

    My wife and I have stayed in this hotel every year for the last 4 years and have on return to the UK posted excellent reviews on trip advisor, as our previous experience of this hotel had been excellent hence our returning three times after our first stay. However this time things were quite different. Since our last trip for some reason virtually the whole of the previous staff had been replaced.ack of interest in the job. The hotel itself was looking very jaded although the manager assured us that a full refurbishment is imminent. We had several issues which were not particularly major but the lack of attention and solution made them irritating and annoying, for instance a faulty sliding wardrobe door which was very difficult to open we reported 5 times, it was finally repaired on the next to last day of our 28 night stay. The hotel is in an area that is inundated with dogs which bark and howl virtually 24 hours a day meaning we had many sleepless nights. Probably the worst of the annoyances was the noise made by children of other guests. During March the Indian schools break for the holidays and although we find the Indian people to be in the main friendly sociable people,some of them do not bother what their children are doing in the case of our hotel children were allowed to run around the landings and general area's shouting and screaming until in some cases 11 o clock at night. It is with regret that we will not stay in this hotel again. We know that we were not the only people to complain about the noise and the TUI rep said many people who had like us had become repeat customer's had informed him they would not be returning to the Silver Sands Hideaway. Overview

Located near to the Candolim Football Ground, this three floors property is maintained with a posh lobby area, featuring chandeliers on the ceilings and designer furniture. There are 23 spacious, stylized and designed guestrooms maintained with hi-end amenities. Goan, Indian and Continental fare can be savoured at the authentic pool-side, restaurant-cum-bar. There is also the Pintos Restaurant, which serves multi-cuisine and is open for diners from 8a.m to 11p.m.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
