    On 30/9 a group of 9 of us arrived at around 7 pm. To our surprise the rooms were not ready. Our agent booked 5 deluxe rooms for 2 nights. Before we could go into our room after waiting for some time a lady brought dinner menu with only 2 choice, 2 dish with chicken and 2 with egg. No choice we ordered and the food came after almost 2 hours plus. Next when we went to the rooms, Omg, flies and mosquitoes everywhere, smelly rooms, stinky blankets, NO WIFI, no towels, soaps,tissues, no hot water, no lights in the bathroom, tv not functioning. WORST of all no one at the reception to help us to sort out things. When our agent asked us to check out this property on website, all looked good, in real it’s horrible. False information on facilities provided. NOT as published. Our agent tried calling but no response as there was no one at the reception. We somehow struggled and put up one night. Checked out next morning without breakfast as their breakfast are after 9am. Never would recommend this place at all. One and only Horrible hotel I hv come across in my life.... More

    We were a family of 9 from Malaysia. We decided to take a trip to Ooty from Coimbatore. After searching, we found silent valley, from the website, it all look beautiful thus we decided to book. But I wish I didn't. It was disappointing as hell. Nothing like what's shown on the website. Upon reaching the hotel at about 7pm, it's was a horror. Firstly, there was no signs of saying which is the reception area, then once found, the reception area was empty. Waited 15 mins, nobody came, walked around, found some kids, asked them only to be told that there are people in the kitchen.Once at the reception, we requested for WiFi as we all wanted to inform our families back home, only to be told that there is NO WiFi but it damn well states in the website that WiFi is available. We were annoyed but fine, we have roaming, we left it. we showed our Agoda booking details, we got our rooms. Before anyone of us were allowed to go in to the room, a lady comes up to us outside the reception areas, handing a hand written menu with just 5 options to choose from for dinner. It was crap but we were tired, hungry, sleepy and angry thus we just ordered. Then they told us that food would only be available at 9pm. They led us to our rooms, the moment he opened the door, my first instinct was like WTF ?! The rooms had stale smell to it like nobody has stayed in there, the smell from the cupboard, OMFG, it's like a dead rat has died in there. There was no hot water kettle, glasses, the comforter was so thin(as a hotel, you know the weather in ooty), no towels, the bathroom had fungus on the walls, there was a dead plant in the room that was a place that attracted mosquitos. The moment we moved it out, the room was filled with mosquitos. Thr issue were the same for all the 5 rooms we booked. It was horrendous and we were to stay for 2 days and here we are planning to run immediately but we unable as it was unsafe to travel. After inspecting the rooms, when I was about to unpack my bag, the lady owner comes to my room, to tell me that the room that I am in was booked by another person and they specifically asked for my room, she made me leave the room to be given a shittier room. Then the food arrived at 10:10pm. It was cold, definitely not delicious at all. It was crap just like the damn hotel. That's when we all agreed, we're leaving the next day itself. We all slept, woke up next day, to nothing and to be told that breakfast will only be served at 9am. And at 7am when breakfast wasn't ready, we were asked our menu for dinner which was the same as the previous night. The worst hotel ever. The only amazing thing about this hotel is the view in the morning, other than that it's waste of your money. What's advertise in their website and other booking sites is a LIE. I HATE THIS PLACE AND NEVER WILL I EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AND I HOPE NOBODY WILL BE FOOLED LIKE WE DID.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
