Beautiful place with delicious food
on Dec 21, 2017
I booked this hotel during my Udaipur trip this year in August. It was hard to get to the hotel as Udaipur(old) roads are no that broad. But, once you entered the hotel, you'll be amazed. You'll see beautiful white tents, green grass, lake pichola and a swimming pool. Yes, there is a swimming pool in this. The best part was the service, from getting your luggage to cleaning the room, time to time. And yes, the included breakfast was amazing too.
Overall if you are getting this around 1500 night(Max), this is one of the best place to crash. I got it for 1050 per night.
Hope you enjoy your stay,

The hotel is located right on the Pichola Lake, and has excellent views of the lake from all the rooms. The lawns are spacious and there are many fruit bearing chikoo trees in the compound. However, the food is average, be it breakfast or dinner. Also, the access to the hotel is not good. You have to traverse narrow lanes to reach the hotel. Since cars cannot reach the hotel, you have to let go of the car around 200-300 m before the hotel and proceed on foot or on autorickshaw. On the bright side, the staff is quite friendly and will help you with good advice and assistance wherever required.

This property was probably the best we chose for our budget during our entire visit to Rajasthan. Hassle free reservation by Ritesh Sharma, the resort manager. Proactive navigation by Badal on the day we were to arrive from Mount Abu in Udaipur by car. The cottages are of good size and very comfortable. The staff are very efficient and courteous. Members of the team Ritesh and Badal were always at hand to offer any assistance requested and the staff were well trained to go the extra mile to ensure comfort to the guest. The food and beverage manager was very accommodating and ensured that we were well looked after in the food department. The resort itself is on a quiet corner of the lake Pichola away from the hustle and bustle of the boats and tourists that visit the lake. All in all a very nice stay. Though the approach was an issue since the hotel is in old Udaipur city we were very promptly and comfortably transported to the hotel by a waiting Rickshaw which took us through an enchanting short ride through a narrow street to the resort in matter of minutes. The auto is a free service from 8 in the morning to 10pm as many times as you want to use.

I visited with my family in month of June 2017 during monsoon time. i enjoyed the stay with them the room was overlooking the Picholla lake the food we had was good in the hotel. We had lovely time the staff was courteous and prompt on every call.
Reaching there was little difficult as there was some govt. work was on so roads were not open to the r
hotel but they provide us the auto (tuk-tuk) to get us from the road where we parked our cars.the over all experience with them was great. I would like to mention the name Badal who guide us to the hotel although on his off day. Rest of the staff was also friendly.

We opted for luxury villas which were only option in the hotel
Lawn and upper deck sitting
1. Tent style villas which has loads of lizards. We have to change room twice for that.
2. Reaching Hotel was also a big task we had to park cars too far from hotel.
3. Breakfast was not free when we checked in.
