    I visited Shiv Vilas in Jaipur .I met shiv vilas's GM Mr Chacko Mammen I was very happy to meet him when I met he told me about the property everything like how the construction was done and really hotel is amazing the room are very clean and comfortable and great location and the check-in process is done efficiently with traditional. First of all I went in food venue I met Mr Pratap Singh shekhwat who is manager of Food and Beverage he is a great and skilled man I was very happy to see his staff the service was absolutely excellent and when I tested the food the hood was very delicious Thanks and regards Sanjay Bisht...     Ok so this is like one of the finest hotel i have seen and now stayed in my life tenure. The services they give starting from check-ins then escorting to your rooms and in room services and the extra demands, the taste of food which here one Head chef named Mr. Vasim makes whatever the way you like and the sculptures and architects of this property is so mind blowing, the history and details of this hotel, everything is so magical here. One should definitely come here and stay to actually enjoy this beauty and i can assure the GM of this property(who wears a real Rolex) he will definitely gives you a personal tour of this place.     We had a fantastic stay at The Shiv Vilas. The room was very cosy, inspite of very cold outside. The lobby is excellent. The breakfast buffet is huge. Supriyo and Mona were excellent hosts and adhering to any special requests for breakfast. If it is Kukas, Shiv Vilas is the place to stay. Worth every penny.... More

    Amazing building but noisy guests

    We stayed here for 2 nights, the moment you get through the gate it looks incredible. The welcome is intense all the staff at the hotel there to welcome you but nice. Our room was a nice size with large balcony, clean and had everything we required on arrival. On the second day our bathrobes, slippers, small towels and shower mat had gone and were not replenshied which was a bit odd. The grounds of the palace are well maintained and the pool area, it was to cold to swim. We are in the restaurant it is pricey but you are limited to going out unless you pay for a taxi/driver to take you back into Jaipur. The food at the hotel was good, the service in the restaurant good particularly the young woman who worked in there. We also enjoyed listening to the local music being played whilst we ate. My only issue with my stay was the noise which seems to be reoccurring in every hotel where families are using 3 or 4 rooms and run about the corridors from room to room slamming doors, shouting, kids running chaos. At midnight I rang down to reception to ask them to sort this, it did eventually go quiet but I am not sure if anyone actually said anything. Aside from that the palace was great.... More

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance

Booking Policies

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
