    Worst hotel..don't spoil your vacation

    If you are coming with ur family for a quality time.. Do'nt choose it. Check these things.. Mattress was of so poor quality, that I could nt sleep properly. AC was nt doing cooling... Remote was not working. T. V. Was there but there was some problem in setup box.. So t.v.was not working. They did nt bother for room service at all. When we ask about A. C. And tv and mattress.. The response was...ma'am dekte hai.... But they did not do anything... The restaurant which serve the food is nt good... Or even tolerable.. My son got sick after eating only one time..After one day stay we moved to another hotel. We have visited many places of india but have never seen such a poor standard hotel. ... More

    Do not confuse Shell Top Hotel with Shell Top Inn which is altogether in a different location. From Karmali station the taxi fare to Shell Top Hotel was Rs.500. I had booked a room for three just two days before the Feast of St.Francis Xavier. The rate seemed fair enough, the crowd would have dispersed by 4th the day of my arrival in Goa. All linen was sent to laundry by the housekeeper and the three of us had to wait for an hour or so for bath towels, luckily we had carried our own, experience in other stays had taught us providing for the absence of such necessities. The management were courteous enough to let us occupy the room even though the check in was half an hour later. The staff must have been exhausted from serving the festival crowd, the wake-up coffee was not served. The restaurant-cum-bar 'Hungry Lips' could not serve any juice, we thought therefore the restaurant wasn't operational. The next day coffee was served and we had a rather decent breakfast and dinner. Breakfast : Masal dosa, Omelette, Upma(semolina) and sweet lassi. Dinner : Nan, Ghobi Manchurian, Palak Paneer. The waiter, a Bengali, was polite, soft spoken and attentive. The location of the hotel is by the road which leads from the junction off St. Ines (St. Agnes) church and about a km from the welcome board to Taleigaon. There are tours arranged by the hotel to various places. This hotel served our purpose as we were visiting friends staying in Taleigaon, A friendly, homely atmosphere and not too expensive.... More

    Good budget hotel in Panjim. Decent rooms advisable for family stay. Attentive staff. Hotel have restaurant which severed good food at reasonable rate. Transportation is available in hotel so there was no difficulty in finding them.... More

    worst hotel experience ever had

    we have booked two non ac(8 person stay) room at hotel on 6 march to 8 t march.when we reached to hotel hotel owner mr.baba talked well and I asked him to arrange four bike for us but he told me for that he want minimum 4 driving licence and unfortunately we had only three of them so he offered us why don't you book a car ( winger ) for tomorrow and you will get the same freedom as bike so we agreed and next morning we left for north goa to auguada fort.Till now things was petty likely after fort visit I told driver to head towards south goa to visit some church and after that we come back to calangute beach.He refused strongly to go to south goa so I called hotel and had talk with Mr.Santosh ( Manager )(As yesterday mr.baba told us go where do u want to go by this car just like bike) .He start using abuse language when I told things to him and told us so I had simply cut the call and called owner of hotel mr.baba.he express the things that calangute beach is very nearer to fort and south goa is 30 km away so you roam round beach after that you can go to south goa and things got settled.But his manager and staff got so rude that once I thought I would check out same moment and book another hotel.. Dont go for this hotel,you might will find room are cheaper but this will ruin your holiday.it is better to pay 300 to 400 pay extra than going for this cheap hotel.and also room was not that good and not so bad,Its totally natural in terms of cleanliness and hot water will not be there at any time so be prepare for cold shower if you going to book hotel. If manger would not so harsh talk hotel may achieve 2 star.... More

  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
